Possible solution for DC / Constant DC issue.

now i just recall that once on some h5 server i also had a constant dc - it turned out that it was necessary to clear the option decrease background performance. since i have this unchecked, then on any server so far, i had no dc (unless the fault of the server itself, eg: crash / reboot / etc.)

try it and let us know if it works.

 

well i get dc even when the ground is not displayed, also because of that i cannot change settings ingame

does it have the same name on the option.ini file? so i can try to turn it off

 

you starting game from web launcher or exe in system folder?

 

game don't start by exe in system folder. error occur in frost window (l2 don't even start)
so it couldn't be this.

you can start l2 from exe in system folder, then you will see server selection menu and when you choose core and click login you will get dc. so my solution is for players who start game from web launcher and get dc in-game, not in menu.

i'm checking option.ini now and i don't see line which is responsible for decrease background performance. :/

 

no, you can't. when you run l2 via l2.exe frost display you error and game process will stop.

dude, no one can start l2 from l2.exe in system folder, you always get a russian-text error lol, innova managed to do it web-launcher only.

but that's not the point, i want to try to turn that option off, so please what should i change in option.ini? cuz i can't change it ingame.

i know that you always get "russian error" but i just do nothing with this error and game will still load to menu.

try this:

iskeepminframerate=false

 

i've just tried to ignore the russian error but the l2 window is closed itself

 

the game automatically closes, there is no chance to change something.

it is obviously that this option doesn't influence anything related with dcs.
