Information about non-starting client

same for me ...

 

seem to be having the same problem like everyone else. i just registered today, downloaded the 4game app and let it install the game for me and the necessary c++ things, made an account, and i can click the play button and the i agree, the 4gameloader.exe is loaded and completed, loading.... screen comes up after that nothing. running windows 7 with comodo internet security, also using latest firefox.

 

check your comodo defence+ exclusions for frost\lineageii.exe (in execution control - shell codes tab).

 

solution for me was removing the reg lines of your l2collector fix, provided some time ago for frost related problems

missing news + play button

hello, i have same problem like this man. i installed java jdk, silver light for ms and still it dont work in firefox, chrome. it work in ie. so plz help me how to fix it. btw i have problem with certificate. i always got message taht 4game certificate old or not actual. or something like that

you need added this, when you have this information you should have option below to added this.

 

yes i did. but still if i check certificate in firefox or chrome option there is message that certificate is not actual or dont use. now i removed 4game application and on website i saw button install. but now when i installed it i am again on begin. now again missing button and l2 news

i tried import certificate again. i got message import was successful but i always have this message : the validity of this certificate has expired or not yet valid. in ie i have choise: view blocked content. if i click on it i see button play and l2 news. but in chrome/firefox i cant do it. i think problem is with certificate. but i dont know how to fix it. i switch off firewall i dont have any antivirus nothing.

this frost crash still doesn't have solution?! it's happening to me now, tried all and nothing worked...

 

still nothing about this non-starting client issue?
i tried to uninstall, install again, check for malwares, clean registry.
this is quite a boring situation ...

 

i had precisely the same problem as everybody else and after trying frustratingly for two days to fix it, i found a simple solution that worked for me. i figured i might as well post it in the hope that it'll help anybody else to play this quite enjoyable game.
first i simply asked my antivirus program (bitdefender 2012 antivirus plus) to exclude the folder “game4” in which my l2 folder lies, but that wasn't enough. so i asked it also exclude any processes from the folders "system" and "frost" in my l2 folder, i did it manually by excluding all .exe files in those folders. after that i press play on "https://eu.4game.com/lineage2/play/" and it started smoothly without any errors or problems.
i hope it helps and gl fixing the game to you all.

 

in my case i had to totally unistall my antivirus from the computer, restart it and then the button showed up. when i was only disabling it didnt help

after update i can't run game correctly:

some1 can tell why there is so many missing files while download/repair all time is ok?

 

this files re auto delete - all of this files are downloading during frost update when you run the game.

 

mhmm ok, but why nothing happen when i fix game and click play?

 

any windows appear? like loeading/updateing frost?
if update forst window appear but nothink happend after this its mean av/firewll
if any action start after click this can mean you have problem with web browser. what web browser you use?

 

no frost window, i tried firefox, chrome, ie even safari and nothing
after clicking play a little spiral spining near cursor about 5-10 sec but no frost window, no game, nothing....
