it would be nice to see an active website which shows the online count in real time and informs you when the server (even npc server?) goes up. something like there's on ncwest (google: naia kaifas lt, dunno if i'm allowed to post links here)... i don't know if this website is official from ncwest but any website would like the one i showed would be really good! this would be kind of useful and since it's an retail server it's not like hours (minutes?) wasted on programming this would be wasted in 3 months. ;p
if it were official it would be on ncwest website. that website you mentioned doesn't have accurated realtime players count. as far i know websites which has access to server online, is tracked by bot-like program which has access at least to login. someone who bypassed frost could script smilar website to it, which is user agreement misdemeanor. shortly, all 10 official retail providers doesn't have it, we wont have it either. officialy only private server has it. i think its enough to know light-normal-heavy status, nothing more.
fair enough... but wouldn't it be easy to make at least a website which shows when the server is available to be logged in? though i guess it requires a bot spamming log in or something i guess... i don't really know that much about it. at least that website for ncwest works for showing whether the server is online or not. especially here that you need to open the client to see if the server is online and you get disconnected if it's not online waiting for the server to be up can be really frustrating.
yeah, when u get dc it goes back to windowns, not to login screen and all bcuz of idiot site launcher it is so annoying
