dear 4games staff, i’ve been playing lineage ii for quite some time now, since c2 if you ask me. and although i quitted 2 years ago, i have been part of the 1st people to sign up on your website, when i heard that another company was going to take the european exploitation of the game over nc west. and i must admit that you guys have been doing quite a decent job so far and that it pretty nice! but, long story short, you know, that i’m not here to talk about that. i’m here to talk about this really recurring problem that me and other players are experiencing recently. i’m talking about item lag. i’m sure you’ve been getting a lot of complaints regarding this issue already, and although i believe you are already dedicating your time as much as possible into solving this issue. here are some few things, i think that you guys are doing wrong, and that might cause you tremendous problems if they aren't fixed fast. i am not talking about the bug itself, as an it engineer i know they can be troublesome to fix, but about your communication regarding this issue. sun tzu’s in the art of war as usual hit the spot when he writes: “if words of command are not clear and distinct, if orders are not thoroughly understood, the general is to blame. but if his orders are clear, and the soldiers nevertheless disobey, then it is the fault of their officers.” we, your clients, are getting exhausted because every single night we are having a severely degraded playing experience, which makes the game terribly painful to play, and we all know how hard it already is. more than item lag; some people are also experiencing more serious issues such as item drop rate deterioration. many people expressed complains, both legitimate and illegitimate, and although i do not agree we all those who were made. you persist on your position of staying mute (i sincerely hope, that you aren't doing this on purpose, expecting us to calm down and let it go.) you need us as much as much we need you, you provide the game, and we provide you the money and the fame that you need to make this business, and your future businesses, successful. yet you persist, in this position of keeping us uninformed how things are being taken care of on your side. my request is simple, regarding this issue and all the others that might occur one day, is it be possible to have a message covering these points : that you are aware of the issue, and if possible what are the causes if it can or can't be fix if yes , when it will be fix and i am not talking about making it once the problem is fixed or when you have the solution, i am talking making such post as soon as you are aware of it. as i said before, information is one of the strongest weapon in wars , if not the strongest, and if you don’t want to use it , i can assure that other people will do it against you. it’s true that some things can be fixed after they are broke. but first let me ask this, at what cost? can you afford to pay it? regards mr_kzimir, tl;dr : we need more info when issue are appearing or god knows what will happen to you

thank you for such a vivid and wide-covering message - i really appreciate this. yet i will have to repeat again - most issues came with the last updated patch which came with some errors and those need to be fixed by the developers. we would love to give you more info or tell you how the things are going - but we have neither the rights nor the possibility to inform you straight away before the korean team who are responsible for fixing this will give us any info we could provide our players with. th only thing i can ask for now is to stay patient - we will keep you posted as we need this lag fixed as badly as you do need it as it does not tell too good on how the game works at the moment. we are sure it will be fixed.
