ive participated in many obt/cbt/pts and other test **** ex. rift(here i even got in the alpha server)/l2/swtor/lotro
tell me the difference between obt and pts when ur so smart? pts is just another word for a test server, there's no need of trying to be smart

 

you must be kidding.

obt = open beta test
pts = public test server

second is a server, physical.
first is a step in release of a game, not physical.

obt occurs sometimes on a pts

 

most of the scrubs dunno that pts and live server are 2 different things or you wouldn't be playing in a "retail" server.

pts is usualy open 1 week before the new content is releazed on the live server. it's what they do in aion/l2 at ncsoft... but innova isn't ncsoft!!

so i really hope they delete all after the pts is over!!!

 

do you usually wiping something what is clean? nope, but that's lineage ii and no way there will be no wipe after beta, refresh first post and stop spamming that.

 

im not kidding, some ppl call it a pts some ppl call it obt, it doesnt rly matter.all of them mean test server.

 

characters will be wiped ofc, but we need to know about accounts.

i did tell you... rift didn't have open beta, only cbt, and i presume that by alpha server you mean cbt server, because there was no alpha for that game, and if you played it after going live you would know that even know that game has pts, but the game is live so not obt. just gave you an example of obt that is going on right now.

actually, heres the list: http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/11/25/betawatch-november-19-25/ i can guarantee you that all the games under obt are full games with players lvling from lvl 1 to max lvl, and most of those games are in obt for months now and there will be no wipe there. that is why i got confused.
