Personal Shops

hi, i think personal shops must be limited to avoid lag in the cities, we canâ´t almost walk when crossing cities like aden,so it will be a good idea to modify de /vendor and /buy commands to be used only at special places, for example you can allow only personal shops at fantasy island and if a guy wants to buy something just goes there and visits "the wall-mart" or you can even create a special instanced zone to put shops,and even better:a modification of the auctioner,actually you can sell offline due to auctioner,so modify it to buy offline too,you put what you want to buy,your offer and if some one likes he sells to you,doing this modification /vendor and /buy command could be dissabled and avoid users hours of lag

 

if i recall correct there was a good way with that problem on l2ex server, in every major city there was special areas only were u could place personal shops. but my memory may be wrong.

 

stupid idea , there are shops with shots , and for mats / items are auctions

 

why is stupid??, at the aution system you cam buy everything,havent you saw it?

 

they must make the places around gk forbidden for the shops like other non offi servers ! its smart and they will avoid server lags in the future.......

 

just remove any shop option...ah is the way!

 

use the low detail command if you port to aden. alt + p and all will be fine. if you use that command you get a limited amount of shops cause it reduce the ammount of player you can see at the same time and reduce the radius you see other player include shops.

 

isnt there an option to show/hide shops name?

 

private shops are an essence of l2. if you want ah only and void cities, go play wow.

there are many options to avoid lag: alt+p, npc limit...

 

just use arrows to move in towns.

 

oh really? please show me where to craft shots in auction house and where to set "private store - buy" there because till now i didnt manage to find them there

 

by this i get the feeling that u think u play on a private server...

 

i have such a feeling since start....

 

or u can buy decent pc and dont lag in town

 

or people should stop putting shops near gk, and btw stomped why dont u put your computer statistics in your signature so u could save your self some time posting "buy decent pc" replies all the time?

even if u dont have lag its very stupid to put shops in the smallest area in aden... ive played on private servers too and even on those where they didnt have shop zones everyone was putting their shop in city square. here in aden people put their shops in the narrowest place in the city so their shop titles r very hard to read or even notice not to mention targeting or god forbid to move without using arrow keys..

i really dont know why people put their shops there since is far more productive to put your shop near ah instead of putting it near gk where people r trying their best to move and get away, from that lag producing, irritating, nerve breaking place in aden, as soon as possible.

if u want no shops near gk, go play private server
else buy new pc or stop crying
i like shops near gk bcuz u dont have to run far to get consumables

 

going down aden stairs is far? oo u really need to get down there m8 there is this auction house, warehouse, grocery store, weapon & armor shop, its pretty neat

i port to aden, buy shops 2m further and teleport somewhere else
if ppl dont like private stores, they can use grocery, wpn shop, auction houses in other town, cant they? rune seems to be perfect place for them

dont see any reason why this should be changed, its more than fine as it is now and change is completely not needed
the only thing to change here is players hardware
