Feedback concerning Bot-Hunting Season

i've seen 0 bots on aria so far, so kind of a useless event there

 

uhm... what about frost ? if this programm don't block cheaters... what for is it ?

 

so according to event describtion: report every1 = win event.

so how to win event:

1: set up a bot in town (aden where most buy ss) for the next days.
2: make script: autotarget everyone and bot report.
3: win event and choose your price for being the best botter on the server.

 

it stops many bots but not all.. some bots are almost impossible to stop

 

no antibot program can block 100% thats why players reports are always welcome. hope this dont goes into medieval witch hunting(sun4o i bet those bans wre on ncwest huh?) but its good idea.

 

good start but what will happen once the event is over ? w8 for the next event in a year to ban the new bots or bot users?

 

ok. next thing : where is gm staff or something who can stay in game and block cheaters ? why players must report these abusers ? that's a gm job. gm duties are searching and blocking cheaters...

anti-bot policy ok. upgrading frost, etc. seize gm staff or increase presence gms in game. that's all.
nataliya, you are cm. just take care about this.

 

why do you care who does the job? if you don't wanna help gm's find bots then don't and gtfo.

it's just an event, the gms will do their jobs after the bots are reported. this even't will probably give them more work anyway.

i think that this shouldn't be an event for just one month but an all time event.

such a shame innova cant catch bots on their own... not enough money to updaet frost?
i dont care about pve bots so im not goin to catch any but i heard premium zranger is working, can some1 confirm/deny it?

 

making anti bot protection immposible to break is impossible.

so if innova want to ban all botters is the really good idea.

90% botters will be reporting other bots and of course still botting,all top players will be untouchable and too smart to lose anything,especially chars/accounts,just smart botting on half-afk... mybe few 24h/7d botters will be catched and thats all


i have seen many full parties who had one owner.... and spoiler teams with one v.high character (pimp=protector) .... and they do it over month with no any problems and threat's from innova's side

if ncwest make such an event they will have to close all servers?

well ojne of reaosns i moved from ncwest here is cause nc west was full of bots for lvl and scripts for pvp here at least ppl are using hands and i like it a lot

+1 for fixing the mentor system

 

i hope you'll perform manual check because i heard that in the old time on ncsoft server bots were declaring legit player as bot with all the power of bots which can be pretty huge.
thus the bot was 1 report and the legit was 10+... guess who was ban ?

i hope this will clean up the serveur, but i fear that people will exploit this event as it's pretty easy to create a bot on another account, log it on another computer behind proxy of with a changing ip and with the main account you report your own bot...

i agree- that is why we wrote about the "campaign" against bots so this is only the first step of this campaign-we will make sure our players play at bot-free servers.
