The END of LINEAGE II and the beginning of LINEAGE III !!!

no idea why are they spending money/resources to release this now ? it has too much similarities with d3 if they want to take all the hype b4 d3 goes live they should`ve released that like a year earlier. and back to the start why are they wasting money and people to develop this instead of lineage 3 or something else ?

 

first this isnt l3
tera was suppose to be l3 but they stole it from ncsoft, developers that was working on l3 not all of em but some stole it and left to other company.
and this will be popular in asian market for sure.
some one thinsk l2 is dieng, but look at how many servers koreans, japanese, chinese, taiwans have.

 

imo next lineage will be with 1 class :d

 

stomped read my post again i`m wrote that i have no idea why the **** are they spending money on something that will die once d3 goes out - it`s played in asian countries too and ppl would prefer it than this.
i said it was going to be better if they invested the money for eternal in developing lineage 3 or their next mmo if they have decided to end the lineage franchise.
bluehole studios (tera) the coders for l3 from nc soft left like 3 years ago - they had more than enough time to start working on their next mmo or next lineage and present something that will go live at some point in the future probably when blizzard say smth more about their plans.

 

actualy d3 dosent stand a chance in eastern market vs this for one simple reason:
d3 isnt korean style mmo that eastern countrys like
ncsoft got other mmos
l3 probly will never come out after they stole tera(aka l3)
u dont know much bout eastern marker i see.

eternal is a d3 clone no matter how i look at it even the trailer is the same from the leap the warrior does at the castle wall to the end where the boss kills 1 of the characters with some crazy attack - here it absorbed the guy in d3 it bit his head off.
you can`t convince me that d3 is not popular in china, japan, korea , taiwan and so on. eternal has nothing that differs it from d3, but if you have some more info i`d be happy if you share it.

the developers on tera are the developers of interlude (best chronicles ever made) they just decided to develope theyr mmo after ncsoft decided to ruin l2...every chronicle its going worse and worse...ofc every chronicle has something new but look at it now,does market exist?does craft exist?no they dont...

no mather what they diceded they had contracts if u know how it works in gaming contracts says that u cant share or take any code pr project if u leave/get fired.
they left and took all the code.

chaotic chronicles basicly was developed by ncsofts team e&g. then later some other teams joined to assist development, but then some problems happened between team, some c4 game files got leeked, some got fired etc. but team e&g remained in ncsoft.

after c4, between range of c5-interlude (which were smallest updates ever did) lineage got new employees from ncsoft, and decided to start new era as chaotic throne, because of team consisting replaced and new developers.

now when whole bunch of new mmos coming out lineage producer, which is ncsoft ceo (belongs to others games as aion) and some other manangers had to take drastic action on game development state, as result we got new saga goddes of desctruction. its no seceret that we got so much minor-smilar features as aion has. in result of goddes of dectruction, mostly korea, russia, taiwan and ncsoft had to open extra servers. in other words its is an success.

while **** happened there, another team hold one's own failure, they were working on lineage 3, which veryfew devs was related to lineage2. later as in the plagiarizing lineage source code and client files, so another dev team once again split. after this failure, mostly those lineage2 devs, which was related to lineage3 joined their fellows in another ncsoft project. and finaly, well we get project s1 or as now know tera, no wonder why most of tera material remind lineage concept. comparing tera and lineage2 credits, almost there aren't similarity.

so where original lineage 2 developers go? simple, most of team (orginal game developers) and even lineage1 developers still working on well-know game - blade and soul.

 

pfff interlude was crappy compared to what we have now, surely god is a lot better chronicle than interlude
yeah the changed the game a lot but its a lot better with every chronicle
i logged to some il pvp server recently, i was amazed how boring was pvp there compared to god, if u prefer il pvp - u must be handless

 

i kinda wonder if c5/il is so good, why do people don't stay on privates that open c5/il servers and run for the newest "worst chronicle ever"...

 

y ok but i still don`t get why are they releasing it now - and not earlier to take all the hype from d3 now they`ll loose ppl to d3 that`s my main question.

 

they lose nothing nor they care bout d3
all they could lose is a bit from eu/us market but they dont care bout that coz korean games are targetted to asians that love grinding.

 

d3 might be big in korea like star craft 2 is. koreans are mad on grinding, and d3 will give this + all the items they get, can be sold for real money legaly. like i said before, ppl will play for lining in this game and koreans are best at this :d
