i know at low level it seems imba having this pots but after 85 everyone will have access to this buffs (i suppose).

 

read the description of the item: "can be used by characters above lvl 85"

edit: now i understand, can be used at lvl 85 but can also be used at low lvl, right?

 

catching/filtering/mangling traffic on your router is a lot of work tbh, it's really not worth going through the trouble of reverse engineering the entire thing to the point of being usable. might as well play the game. i used to tcpdump in another game to catch hidden enemies and it made the entire thing rather... boring. mangling traffic to auto-target the hiddens made things quite insane (as a ranged glass cannon nuker, my only liability were hidden daggers getting close).

edit: my point is, the game becomes way too easy as soon as you start cheating. and as such boring. i haven't cheated in a game for 10 years now and i'm not really missing it

 

no, to use this pot you character needs to be level 85 or higher. so from 1 till 84 you can't use it.

 

well i misunderstood the description , but isn't it better ?

 

exactly my point. some bots do that, but they run on the l2 computer so can be detected even repacked, also changing, inserting or blackholing packets is extremely easy to detect, nc could do it even if they dont detect the program as such.
but you need the wish to do it, it is a battle of wills, who is determined to go further and what is ready to risk and sacrifice for that. i predict that (with a decent gm team and coders) no more than 5% of ppl do it hardcore and get away with it. for a while...
