German version of Lineage 2 announced!

fix the bugs and give us a proper launcher first that would be better then useless german version for 300 ppl :/

nah, just joking. does it really matter what localization comes first? innova announced before that they will release more than 1 localization and i guess there will be a polish version aswell (, soon). [scnr]


tbh i wouldn't mind a english-only game, chances are quite high i won't get the german client anyways. most translations are just horrible imho (that's also the reason i played wow with an english client...).

anyway i can't imagine l2 in other language than english after these all years anyway i'll stay with english option.

 

maybe germans just don't spam as much as others relapse xd

but if we really are the smallest group of players then that is maybe the reason behind it. just guess they f'up the client: what's better? a small group of players is upset and can't play or a large group?

you all remember that you had to chose your county. maybe they use the data and combine that fact with the % of pa accs from this county. so maybe german player have the hightest pa rate / player. so they hope that they get more money if they translate the gameclient into german so that more german player bring there money ^ ^

 

battlefield 3 use the same launcher. login and play from web. easy, "secure".

 

it is a client got nothing to do with a server.

 

to make all the things clear. it will be german language client, not another server for germans. simply, you will be able to chose your language. soon client will be in other languages also.

 

i'm sorry, information i posted here is false. new server will be germa-localized also.

well no, basically i gotta add some thoughts aswell.
imo, thats not an good decision at all, split the player base even more. and btw, im from germany and i never ever would play on an german only server cuz its kinda gay imo. people who likes to play mmorpgs usually likes to get the most possible competition to show the whole world how good their skills are, so whats the point to open an german-only server with like 200-500 people on it and making the other servers less attractive at the same time cuz of less population/competition? i just cant get it. oo
