Time life of old servers? What about new server?

i just found out about this god (was busy last year) and i would like to have nice fresh start. so my question would be how old is last new server on this official eu lineage 2 server chain and any news about new upcoming server soon in early future?

 

also would like to know is it possible to get stone of destiny in this server? heard that in ncwest you were able to get it only during start?

the first server core was launched on the 8th december 2011 followed by the 2nd server aria on the 22nd december. in terms of "catching up", this doesn't take long anymore. realistically even playing casually 2-3 hours a night you can be 85 and awakened in around 4 weeks.

we do not get the stone of destiny currently on our servers, however, i beleive it's being discussed.

thank you for informative answer. still would be nice to start from day 1. hoping that's gonna be one day, meanwhile gonna try to catch up on aria. but also would like to know what traffic is on both servers? traffic i mean are there any lag problems, and how many people playing on each server?

would be nice that stone of destiny would be implemented like it was on ncwest. would like to play some exotic class/race combination.

 

when the servers launched there were teething problems with lags ofc, but now everything seems stable. servers are based in luxembourg and i don't have problems with lag personally (i play on core).

exact population counts aren't published but estimated around 4000-5000 on core and around 1500-2500 on aria.

thank you for info guys. last question i am interested in is, is it true that this eu servers are the only ones with x2 rates compared to all korean/usa/russian servers?

 

the "x2" rates you refer to is included on the premium account package (more info here > https://forum.4game.com/showthread.php?t=3412&p=34991&viewfull=1#post34991). the premium account service is the same as the one offered on innova's russian servers. in regards to korean servers i do not know if they offer a similar service.

if u decide u want to pay to play, 2x
but in case u play only 1h / day or less, or u are a roleplayer and enjoy the low lvl exping and hunting and having a picnic with e-friends, 1x is more than enough
having future plans, like joining a strong clam or pvp or reaching the mid lvl content (85+) u will definitely need pa

 

simply put if you don`t pay you get the same xp as on ncwest, nc korea, ru off and so on - if you want to pay you`ll get an xp boost and the chance to launch a 2nd game client.
scubba is saying that most of the clans on core are 85+ now and since it takes more time to lvl after 85 you`ll either have to spend more time to catch up or get the xp boost (pay) and catch up faster.

you can create a low level char on both servers and check sieges and tw and decide - sieges and tw are this weekend -> 25th and 26th of february.

 

scubba is a know aria hater also, so take his words on server discussion with moderation.

core has more highlevels and more ppl. alot of competition and definetly more high lvl clans then aria.
aria is younger, has less population. its still more then enough for clans to fight on sieges etc, easier to get in on the fun starting new.

ppl who trashtalk saying x server is dead, you cant do anything on x server etc is just idiot trash talk. both servers are alive and kickin. as suggested check sieges this weekend and compare yourself .
