Installation issues

hello,

i've seen several posts about lineage ii download issues, but i have a slightly different issue.

i'm logged on the website and passed the "install" button. so basically, the launcher has checked if i have lineage ii installed, and i have now the button "update" available.


my issue is that, each time i click on "update", the launcher only download for 1 second (approximately0.5mo), then stop, and i must click again on update.

in other words, my launcher download some files, but crash almost immediately.

as anyone encountered that issue too?

ps : i tried firefox and chrome as navigator
i have also disactivated my firewall and anti-virus, but it still crashes after 1seconde download

i solved that:

1- delete 4game from add and remove programs
2- reboot
3- download and install 4game again

 

didn't work for me.. -.-'

 

i'm also having this same issue. i got stuck at 11.41%.

reinstalling 4game application did not solve the problem.

 

it works only if you download full client, like when installing 4game launcher you locate your l2 folder which is empty. then it downloads 5,86 gb and wualla, you can play. i did this and it worked

 

what do you mean "download full client"? is it possible to download the full client instead of downloading through 4game's launcher?

 

full client i mean 4game launcher should start to download 5,86 gb size update, not like checking files or w/e. just direct to empty folder when installing 4game and it will work, if it doesn't try rebooting the system. then it should.

 

just to let you know that my problem is now solved.

what i did was uninstall 4game, delete the folders, re-download the installer, installed again.

re-downloading the installer seems to be important. i had tried these steps without re-downloading with no luck.

 

check disk space

 

wtf?! before i installed 4game+l2 the first time i had like 17 gb free space.. i deleted whole 4game folder and only have 10 gb free space oo i deleted another game (-.-') and now i can download again lol..

 

same problem here, installing uninstalling 4game luncher nothing helps, any solution from developers?

 

a friend of mine who had a problem for installing the lineage, i solve it today.

i reinstalled the windows ,because he didn't have taskmanager so it couldn't load it.
hope it will help someone else too.

 

as noted before, check your available disk space. apparently you need at least 15gb.

 

working! i thought 11gb is enough, why this dumb launcher just dont show simply notification as 'u need more free space at hard drive' ? anyway thanks for help.
