It was not possible to lure mob's this far. Maybe there is some sort of new mobs which are lurable unlimited distances? Or maybe someone found some sort of bug? Or maybe server is broken?
you can't lure mobs from their "circle".. only with some bug/exploit they can appear in town after soe/bsoe/pr or smth..
Hmmm, few days ago, i ported to Giran, and in front of the GK was a mob, deep red to me, i was only 70+, targeted it, no transformation or some kind of special npc summoned by a GM. Don't remember it's name, but it looked like a chimera without wings, same colour and style. After a while it disappeared. Could have happen the same, and someone lured it to other players.
Today around 4am i saw Bloody Succubus mob from Shrine of Loyalty in Aden, it was killing ppl with aoes. Dunno how it came to town though, I only noticed it when it started hitting
The issue about the dead characters in town has already been reported to the staff. They will look on it.
