Easy question, worth start new players here? Thanks for your answers

Just that is the question. Worth start for new players on this server?

My wife and me wanted to play on classic when some months ago innova announced the server but the bad news came and americans player had to use proxys/vpns to play on it. We wanted to wait and play on classic even with that restrictions, but some days ago ncwest launched a new server in god chronicle, we started playing and, sourprise we were enjoying the game until we realise that most of the people we saw were bots and we dont want to play on server with that number of bots more than 50% population was afk bots with scripts and the other 50% was people who was talking about they were using too some kind of bots/programs.

Well, now we have only 2 options, wait classic or start playing here which apparently is not like that server, ok... some people maybe use bots but its not even close to that server, but this server has 4 years and we dont care about to be top players of the server but we would like to enjoy all the content so I would know if we start from 0 we are going to have problems doing it because people only gives party to top players and that kind of troubles or that is not going to be a problem.

And one more thing, after classic is going to be launched will affect to this server population? I ask because maybe just doesnt worth start here because this is going to be desert and would be better idea just to wait classic to play on a good health server with no bots.

You'll see cheaters here, but far far far far far less than BotWest. If you don't mind not being competitive against top players, I think you'll find what you're looking for here. This server is as P2W as NcWest is, but if you put away the top donators to peacefully play the game the way you like, you should enjoy it.

Note that you will not see a lot of people in low level zones, as the server is kinda old and there are not a lot of newcomers.

About Classic, I don't know. The hype is based on nostalgia, and nostalgia is mainly made with your best memories (simply because they're the one you remember the best). Facing this nostalgia to the cold truth of the endless grind will probably make a lot of people stop. I think a lot of ppl will go on classic, but after few months a lot will stop.

 

classic is epic fail, and dosnt worth to play here if u wanna be competitive, atleast if u dont mind to waste tons of €

if you want play PVE only l2 is realy poor poor, if want PVP you must spend much Euro, or farm farm farm with CP zaken freya with many 85 char like here ,


population is always less it's global l2 problem coz the ****y dev cut all good drop... and evry update with pvp item's in l2 store make less people, next new brooch propably too take some people. classic of coz too take some.

u can start playing here, won't be any problems, plus we need more yuls on this server

 

So, 60 zaken and 60 freya's gives you 2b profit if you make them solo.

freya 2x if im not wrong.

Definitely worth giving it a try, but truely noone can determine that but you and your wife m8.

Surely it will affect the pop but not much more than it already has.

But the game is much less player friendly now, and classic is much worse as far as that goes. Classic is isnt really much different like someone stated before its based on nostalgia. All classic is, is GoD with interlude texture packs and a smaller map. Pointless in my opinion but some people need to feel that bump and grind from classic again so let em have at it, i personally miss old L2 but i enjoy relearning the game and adapting to it, you dont have to run instances, EVER. I wouldnt suggest not doing them occasionally but im sure you understand what im saying, you can play however you like, whatever you enjoy and i can ensure you will find like minded players in your travel.
