hi, i have one question about bots..... i found some bots with nickname "gnomospol" "fatxman" and "superspol" on server core....i report then everyday but they still in game....so i want answer. "how i can report this bots and it works?" thx for answer
you can follow the guide written by fahrenheit here > https://forum.4game.com/showthread.php?t=8360 or report a third party software user via https://support.4game.com regards.
that's something i'd like to know aswell. i mean, the report button should be more than enough, or just a quick trip through swamp of screams.
dear members, for bot reporting please use the following link and create a ticket and include any screens/video clips to support your ticket - support regards.
dear deepblue, who's job is it? i mean, keep the server clean from 3rd party softwares? regards p.s.: i'm not *****ing at you.
well, you can not really pin point it down to one person or team as you have to factor in many things...therefore you have the gm's who deal with the reports made by the players and to take physical action against any reported bots that slip through the frost system...and then you have of course the technical gm's who deal with frost and its updates...they all work together alongside players, moderators, cm's who may report botting incidents to them. you also have to consider that for as many updates as you make to a security system like frost, there will be many people out there also updating their software to try to sneak through without being detected, so it has always been and always will be an ongoing battle of the minds as for bot reporting buttons vs support (which i guess will be your next question) bot reporting buttons are effective to a point, you have to factor in that some people who hold grudges towards other players may spam bot reports on them just because they think its clever, so amongst actual bots you will also find fake incidents aswell and of course using the bot report button does not give you a function for adding any evidence or personal attempt at interaction with the reported character whereas the support system provides you with a way to provide extra supporting information, screenshots, videos etc...both systems have their own pro's and cons. hope this helps you. regards. thread also moved to more appropriate section. thread closed and moved to archives.
