I'm disconecting from server

seems that my dc is for being about 30s or more without sending or receiving packets of information (it must be after selecting a character,when loading screen ) that means a reset for conection lost, any advice?

 

hello, well first of all i want to tell you i'm ok now. i format'ed my pc and installed everything but two games, league of legends and soldier of fortune (and punkbuster) now everything goes well. well as some1 said before it may be cause of the punkbuster so becarefull with that...

i'm afraid this is isp problem. try to ping your rounter ip from your command line. ping -t routeriphere. check if you loosing packages between your pc and router first.

 

oh bloody helll it's pissing me off... what's the point of this whole frost thing and launching by the webside? why it couldn't be as simple as ncwest!?(yes) i've tried with my adsl modem that i've recieved from my internet provider, still dc, so it's not a problem with router... bloody hell! i have to say i'm really dissapointed with this whole situation.... espiecially as the pts is ending today...

uninstalling battleping and restarting after; worked for me.

 

was using the free avast antivirus 5 and uninstalling that seemed to fix the issue for me. radix for president btw. =d

 

i'm using avast! free edition by myself and i don't have any problems with it, but i'm glad you found a solution for your issue.

 

i got the same problem get dc every time i try to log have no idea why this happen firewall is on off used fix files on site got no antivirus but still get dc

srsly idk what to do i think i've tried everything but reinstalling, also the only day that i had no dc was when i uninstalled ncwest and the day after it came again...

try to check ping loses to other ips, out of your network. trying to check it on one host outside of your network wont be relevant.
check your package loses to google.com, and few other hosts and post your results.

 

well using pingtest.net it says about 52% of packets loss lol, thought i don't know if it's a reliable source

when doing ping google.com or eu.4game.com for example i don't lose packets

 

do you ping it with -t option ? e.g. ping -t www.google.com just it wont stop sending packages after 3 times ?

 

oh nope, and btw what must it say if i am losing packets? i have it on other language and says something like waiting time exceeded, but not much just 2 or 3 times

 

oh, i'm sorry for not explaining this to you, here you go:

type:
- ping -t www.google.com

let it run for like 5 minutes, and then push ctrl+c

post here received and lost packages percentage value and average, minimum and maximum ping in ms.

 

sent = 308
received = 305
% lost = 0%
min = 70ms
max = 415ms
avg= 74ms

 

it doesn't seems to be a problem with your connection then either. ill try to find any other solution.

 

i have some problem, i try uninstall antivirus, etc.. but not work :s

tonight i uninstall the l2 and download it again, but i dont think that solves any

please make an normal anticheat system or fix current, why people can't have a normal play, why do we have to turn off our pc security programs and make our computers vulnerable, why do we have to check our routers or isp, why do we have to delete other programs to play on innova servers, everything worked on ncsoft, why it can't work here, why to make everything so complicated, the launcher, the security systems, the website...if innova can't fix that dc issues, then turn frost off and let people play, and turn it on later when you will fix it...
