After making you main 85, and trying to make subclass, it's almost impossible to get up in levels. I used fortune bags to 61 and took me 3 hours from 61-64. Vitality and 100 % rune + Exalted lvl 2 and Empire scroll = 270k exp per mob. There are only old quest available giving 1.4 or 1.8 mill exp for the quest. So is this how you level up now. Endless grind of hours to get 1 level per every 1-5 hour now ? Because i don't see any other quest out there for subs. And trying RB's is an option, but takes 1 hour to even find members that low. Ebay and buy fortune pockets up to lvl 85 ? or just quit ?
ever heard about fishing? Or get a R-99 grade rune, equip top gear and solo smash raidbosses to make 5-10 lvls with ONE boss easily ... ( boss dies in like 1 min with good gear ) I dont see the Problem here
If your PA try to just fish overnight/while working or skool. The fancy rod helps alot. In around 24h of fishing u can make it to 78, so if u dont have fancy rod it will take u longer/slower but its not that expensive and its basicly free exp while ur afk... At 78 ur close to 80 and after just get plvl or push trough to 85. About endless grind... its gonna get alot worse the higher lvl u get
with 78 or 80 u can also join gludio RB lowbie party, that would make u 85 in one evening ... They should be at evening 9 pm afaik around gludio ( mb u can check party matching also )
i'm not sure why it takes you so long to level up, maybe you just don't know the right spots to level?

In good month with PA + maphrs (+some passes here and there) I managed to make 100/99. To compare it to 2 years ago, I wasted years for reaching 100 on my first main. Lvling has never been easier. Mind you that helios reduced field exp gain and I also mainly stuck to instances only, some fairly lvling while I was testing afk macros but thats it.
The only xp reduced was for low level hunting zones. Afaik in the patch note, there were only boosts for 85+ zones (some even +50% xp bonus).
Subclass quests are repeatable = you don't need to farm mobs all day, just get an awakened friend to 1-hit the mobs for you and you are 85 in 1 day
Quite the opposite in fact. It's been the same for several patches. Since the level of players is constantly being pushed further, it's only logical they add some way for people to catch interesting levels quickly (I remember when I was 98, and was happy when I was making 1% per hour in CR...). That's why Kartia/Baylor were boosted, and why now Seal of Shilen or Blazing Swamp are now giving 4times the xp they were giving in the past (even if BS is only 2-3 updates old)
It's just kinda stupid that u need full pt to enter baylor, while u need 5 ppl for atelia/gludio/tavera/cc, and 2 for kartia/kama. They would need to increase open field xp 3x more to be worth to exp there. Now if u do these instances with not full pt's (like baylor/kama trio/ kartia solo/duo, and so on) u should be able to do all of it in ~2h I think, and it whould give 5x? mby even 10x more exp than spending all this time killing mobs. But on high level (102+) u start to get exp penalty in instances so u get less and less exp, and u will find that killing mobs in some zones is better.
Ideal situation would be that they increase the exp from faction quests or just open field exp. It would create much more activity in those area's -> more pvp The only thing people are doing now is creating parties for instances...cause there are easy and give best exp/hour. If only those people would become more motivated to create parties and go farm open field, but since the open field exp aint worth it, they dont bother... which *****.
I've 2 opinions on that : personally, I totally agree with you, I find stupid that you must enter with a full party. But on the other hand, it would be hard to create a party for baylor if you're not well geared to solo/duo it, as the best DDs already did it alone and so won't help you.
Good dd's already doing baylor solo/duo (those who buys boxes for enter), and i often do it duo/trio depends how many cp is online, and it's not problem to login that many accounts even to enter twice without using passes on box, since innova giving PA like every week , And if u feel like u have low dmg, u just make full pt for it. Oh we have new zones in helios, like gc/superion/etc. and with new faction system it's kinda more interesting to exp there and see your faction rising. But you wanna know what else we get ? 1. Kartia gives 2x more exp now than before update, which was already boosted. 2. Remember that broken fishing event ? Check your inventory, u will probably find 100+ maphr scrolls, so why whould u go to waste your vitality, if u won't be able to do kama with maphr scroll. 3. Remember that broken afk fishing event we had where u just afk and exp ? Maximize your window, there is 99% chance that u fishing again.
