there is no point keeping aria online as their community isint rising. the only solution merge and its the right choise for rising a bit core community and letting aria players to keep enjoying the game in a bigger community.
anyway if they would have left aria as it is now the server community would be simply vanished in no time..

 

after a short while when core stops making money they will shut it down aswell,so amusing,i didn't believe it when someone said that this is just the russian business model but there you go,milk the cows and ditch them,enjoy playing their "retail" servers filled with bugs and what not,i almost forgot,the lack of decent events or any events for that matter is plain simply sad,have fun!:d

 

i think tauti brings nothing good. it's alrdy hard to find a party, but in tauti doing istina and other raids will become even harder when you need 2 parties instead of one. it was already difficult to find those 7 ppl without waiting for 30min. so everyone who doesnt have a majorly dedicated pve clan or a cp is doomed. the way i see it even more ppl will quit in tauti since it makes the life of randoms and casual players harder. there is nothing new to those random low lvls, even the new instances tauti brings are for highbies.
this game isnt for hard core pvers anymore since solo is impossible, you need to be part of a team. this sounds cool at first, however, since the clan sizes are so idiotically high finding that team is difficult. everyone is just a big zerg and even in your own clan you know maybe 10% of the ppl. there is no unified feeling as you used to have with small clans back in the days. a clan with 150ppl is more like an ally where everyone does their own thing, which destroys the purpose of the clan i nthe first place. and having a cp is fun, but it takes major dedication. now, i dont mind logging at, lets say, at 8 every day and make a party, but i dont want to play every day and rl is important too. however, if i dont come those 6 ppl will be worse off since even though they all came at 8 they still have to wait 30min to find a new healer (my class).
this game also doesnt have the pvp anymore since everythign is inside instances. it is now, also, a game for people with specific jobs/rl, who can be in a cp or who play during the evenings. people with shifts at work are unable to ever find a cp and also unable to ever level up. l2 used to be same for everyone. you could level in the mornings solo if you were busy in the evening or party up if you wanted to for other leveling grounds. you always had to look out for pvp, now you just pve or stand in town lfp.
as for innova vs ncsoft: well yesterday i took a look at ncsoft site after a while. instantly i saw that there is an event running and that in the store i could buy many interesting things unavailable in 4game shop. you had loads of appearance items (and you didnt have to try your luck, you could pick what hat etc you wanted). they got mentoring, they got more players...as a new player i wouldnt even doubt where to go. even if innova would get mentoring ncsoft remains far superior. their marketing is better, their site and offers more attractive, they got events, benefits and everythign you could imagine. not to mention that the pa innova offers is still ridiculously expensive and you hardly get anythign for it... (waiting for another sale btw!) so i'm sad that im playing here, but its too late to reroll now

commenting as players myself that has tried both sides.
yes i agree that ncwest might be more attractive to a new player and easier to find party and xp your way up till 85, but lvl after 90 is almost impossible. being in a big clan and had a cp in which we were farming -xping 10h non stop was really hard to lvl up 91+.
mentor is indeed a boost but only till 86 lvl. to be able to lvl after 86 you have to buy runes and vit all time, which in ncwest cant be bought by adena like here, or gifted so you end up spending much more than pa here. on the other hand here with pa you got xp boost and you can buy runes - vit with adena.
also the botting in ncwest is unbelievable. you wont see many bots low lvl when u start and u say: is not so many bots. but when u go swampland gl on finding any spot. place is packed with bots selling powerlevel.
not to mention bot cps in gog and in sieges, oly. botting might not make u a better player but u can spot enemies from far away, see classes etc, so no matter what they always have advantage.
now to the site / marketing / advertising part, yes ncwest is doing better and yes innova seems unprofessional compared to ncwest, but keep in mind that ncwest is running this project 10 years, and innova 8 months. do u remember ncwest 8th month?
innova's russian projects though are one of the best in l2 community, so it has proven its effectiveness and professionalism. all it needs to prove them in the l2 european community is time.

you can't say innova is a newbie in l2 industry since they are running the russian servers for a long time now. atm i don't see any excuse for that crappy website or the lack of mentor system.
anyway back on topic, leveling on ncwest is pretty easy after 90+ since botting in lower gog, fairy's or orbis is the thing to do. the problem is the 3rd party soft for pvp which basically leaves you 1 option: can't beat them so join them.
on the other hand leveling past 90 on innova is not that hard either if you have pa, buy some nevit, xp runes, even for a casual player.
what makes it hard is the cp system for casual players which, like estemy said don't want to play daily.

especially during a difficult period for the mmo, a lot of competition with new games coming out.
a few years ago ncsoft was so quiet with this.

 

well as a former player on innova core and now playing in shilien let me tell u something:
1. a lot more ppl play here.
2. mentoring is ubernice - u get xp boost,free enchants for weapon and armor, free lucky enchant stone, free stones 150 element for weapons, free stones 60 element and get 10% xp boost from 85 if u have mentees.
3. u can make a lvl 40 char just to take mentee certificate and use it for ssr/bssr and u get like 2500bssr/5000ssr per diploma used.
4. in the last event i made 800kk adena from selling eggs.
5. path of awakenig free gear.
6. pwrlvl in swamp is so cheap
7. in 1 month i made and iss and tank 85+ and remember u can dbox on shilien.
8. i forgot about bots :d there is a ****load of bots here and thats sad but i got over it and make a red char to pk them
