Pls Help, non-starting client

I press play and i get the loading picture pop up and fades out, then a brief flash of the next picture and ...... nothing.

i have found a work-around but would like to know more

Is this compatible with the NCWest version of the game?
i get the issue described in this thread and have found that if i load L2EU first and then L2 BOTH run fine.
if i have L2 running then try to load L2EU OR L2Classic i get the problem mentioned.
why will it not run if L2 is running but L2 does not care if L2EU is running?

The reason i WANT to have both running is that i was thinking of moving to this version of the game and wanted to try it before i did, whilst not missing out on other version in case i do not move. (best of both worlds)
I dont like having to close all of my L2 clients down to load up my L2EU ones then have to load them back up.

Any help is much appreciated

 

My guess it is because of Frost. Frost is the protection software that 4game versions of the game are using. Probably it doesn't like if an unknown version of L2 is already running. Just keep using your workaround.

Sorry read wrong first, your problem is you cannot run ncw and our servers at once?
You tried running our server first and then ncw?

 

Yes it will work if i start your server clients first then the NCW ones but not the other way round? is this intended?
But it gets annoying when yours disconnect and i have to take down all 3 of the NCW ones to open 2-3 of yours then restart 3 NCW. Saturday it was about every hour or two so gave up loading your servers on Sunday.

L2Classic has just loaded up with 3 NCW clients running but not L2EU!!!!
sometimes i have noticed that i have to load L2EU up before L2Classic too as it does not seem to like that running first either

 

Be careful, cause it GameGuard (ncw security system) can think you are trying to hack it with such actions, as Frost and GG conflict with each other.

are you suggesting i stop playing one of the two systems in favour of the other before i have had the chance to "test the water" with your system? or is there no issue if your system was started first?
and i can understand GG and frost conflicting (competing companies etc) but to have L2classic and L2EU conflicting seems a little odd??

 

There was an issue on ru main and ru cl versions, first you had to run main and then classic clients, tried this order?

i loaded up EU then classic then swapped account and loaded up EU and it shut down classic!.
i guess i will have to load up EU account 1, EU account 2 then swap back to account 1 for Classic.

What about the other question?

 

Unfortunately, license applies only to one of the territories, so running both versions is not supported.
