Assazhi is right, take into account you won't have much items at start giving MP regen, same as you won't have proper clan with proper level having proper mp regen / holy squad lvl 2+. It's going to be a nightmare to go like that. I wouldn't consider any group besides 3 dd's / 1 tank / 1 iss / 2 healers for pvp, since it's the best setup you can make, and would take only ranged DD's as the advantage it's clearly obvious
Early game you mean 85-? Because like ppl said, in god start ppl had this setup and didn't have problems, even with long reuse delay ultimate body to mind.
in this chronicle clan skills/lvl isnt big problem, 11 lv only after siege, lv10 is matter of 2-3days if have enough ppl its not like old chrinicles needed mentees for those 400 clan pts and etc.. now 1-85 = 1.5k~ +after that u geting them fast knowing that 99 can reach even with paulinas in a week thats like 6-7k pts from 1 char, skills now dont require eggs which was hard in old chronicles cause u didnt had enough and extra box healer is a problem for a rebirth? or is a rebirth 110 lv skill?
Depending on class, but not long ago I decided to make crafter on my main account free slot, and must to say with some intell and try-hard you can make 99lvl really really fast, actually I made from 1 to nearly 98 in a day without plvl, simple paulina armors+weapon + ISS box with event gear, only boost's I had was 7-days rune 200%+Maphr scroll's that I transfered from my main. 3 hours 1-85 2 hours 85-90 (2xKartia+Solo) 3 hours 90-95 (2xKartia+2xSolo+30mins in Fairys) 3 hours 95-97.92% (2xKartia+2xSolo+2xBaylor) Ofc not every class are capable of soloing kartia with just ISS box or not every1 is so dedicated, but yeah clan pts wont be problem for +40 member's clan. What I simply dont understand why everyone want to take at start Mage setups, okey AoE at fairys, later in loc sounds good. But 1-85 atm is like 3h, with tons of ppl it might take 4h, but after 85 with instances and so you can make quick level's with new paulina's gear's. And even archer's setup's can without problem's AoE in Fairys and so on. One mage is always good in any pve and meybe pvp setup for debuff's/snare, but 2-3 mages or even more? They dont do damage in instances, they weak in pvp that a class only for snare and fill hero spot.. Even Healer do more dmg then mages on end game gear, just look at Core, Taka makes more dmg then Jik with Poison's items, he manages to reach same numbers only on brooch br. In my opinian any party that is looking for now/future pvp shoud start with proper PvP setup, and by current/GC features it's Yull/Othellx3+1-2Tanks+PoM+MI+2 Healer's. One healer can always be main Feoh/Wynn and another dual Feoh/Wynn, and one of Tank/Yull/Othell can play some Tyrr duall for AoE/DPS. Well atleast that how I undestand this game
Most pvp setups include archers because they are really good in small pvps and mass pvps. The 101 skill, together with the p.def ignore from OE skills makes archers hit really hard, and even while doing AOEs, they can hit a lot of ppl. Daggers are really good for small pvps (7v7, etc.), but for mass pvp most daggers change for archer. Feoh is good (even more now with brooch br being 4x better for mages than fighters), but they still deppend a lot on debuff, so that's why most pvp parties have max 1 feoh: because feoh is only really good when the other party start dying (or when you have brooch br), and to start killing you normally need archer or dagger. Eviscerator is a class that you need to be close to hit a lot of damage (if enemy runs, you do barely no damage), and they hit less than daggers. I'm not saying it can't be done, since I saw even a top RU group going with 2 archers + 1 eviscerator, and they won a lot of other groups, but this eviscerator would only kill top ppl really fast when he'd open steel mind + mad cow (or with brooch br). The only thing is that with same gear, dagger will hit more (both classes with full brooches lv 4, augment, pom, etc.) and feoh/yul can't be kited by running.
For AOE PvE, wynn is mostly useless.. for single target, it needs transformation to be equal to titans/eviscerators.. but you only have 1 transformation, with 10 min duration and 30 min cooldown. So either you keep using zaken scrolls transformation (which are expensive) or you learn perma transformations (which are almost impossible to get now). For open PvP, it's a disabler (like tyrr warlord). It can work, but you need 2 crazy stacked DDs to start killing healers/ISS to break the purge + purge + angel's touch cycle. If your DDs are not very strong, the other party will pbb keep the purge cycle for the most part. On the other hand, it's really good for oly. So maybe if you like wynn, make main wynn (to go oly) and dual something useful for the party (like healer or something else).
I see. Well I used to be a Wynn on core till last year. Long story short, since they will open a new server I wan't to have some fun again, and since I wasn't here for some time, I'm clueless about all the changes. I'm that guy who would run PA and some cosmetic items from l2store, so what would you recommend me run? Wynn for oly/instances and healer for pvp/instances parties sounds appealing
and why would u bother addin up boxes and gear to have 4 mages? totaly pointless than u need to eighter put subclass fast on 1 mage or equip a box + u will not be competative with that lol setup
Can be.. both use resist jewelery (soul baium, frint soul, tauti ring or soul queen ant, bless zaken - coc mental/stun), both can use robe set, mage weapon with double HP + casting speed, etc. And it's good that almost nobody plays Wynn, so you can get hero easy and use hero cloak + hero weapon on your dual healer.
nerfed since IO but still broken as for me. thx for opinion but i cant stop laugh :/ i think its like a 6 months until forcebringer will be installed
