So they did something smart: they have reduced the potential earnings for bot drivers and they have directed that extra income towards their vault through l2store. It's like drugs you see? Whatever you do you can't stop it! Best thing to do is to control it and tax it. The dutch got it right with drugs, the germans got it right with prostitution, NcWest got it right with l2store. It's not about stopping what cannot be stopped, but rather control and manage it.

Your example and analogy is completly false. Yes, it's true it can't be stopped and whoever wanna RMT will do it, but there are 2 different options: 1- L2store : Company makes money out of it by injecting items in the server at a faster rate than the farming ways, those items are comming literally out of nowhere 2- RMT: Company doesn't make money, those items can't come out of nowhere, so in order for a buyer to get an item to buy, there has to be SOMEONE that FARMS it Do you see the difference?

Well, there are a lot of missing improvements that could be done about bots and in the game system. Just look at the bot report button, for example, you can not report a war tag or if he is in chaotic stage or you can't report him in the safe zone in a situation if the guy using programs return in town and spamming skills. If you catch a party you can report 1 guy after you need to wait 30mins. I think would be also a great idea on making for people an easy way to report them instead of wasting time for petitions. And since a video is not enough proof so there is no point actually reporting for botting with petitions because is same as pressing bot report button is just I think would be much better with some additional improvements. And at the server start, it will be probably bot land, but whatever. Increasing rates in instances or making areas more useful I think it would create some disadvantages on more bots appearing, but the majority of them is just pure black market either you buy from them either they bot at the end people getting bans. We have a great community that takes cares of them by reporting as much as possible. The problem is that they keep nerfing stuff and the game is stopping to be competitive because of nerfs you can't really reach a lot without donation and is just getting sad when you realise that from what it use to be to what it has become. You reach r99 equipment, but when you go for making PvP sets for a party or PvP weapons or gathering adena for all party at least LVL 4 brooches you can't really break that barrier without the donation. But if you donate every time you end up with all items and 6lvl 6 broches I know majority of people can see problem in here but on the other side this is just a forum in many years lot of people said similar things nothing ever have been changed I guess you just play the game as it is till you eventually get bored because of its own mechanics and you just leave it. People was saying that they don't care about l2store go add more things whatever just make a sense to reach them from the farm and when you do it have some logic in it.
For bots there is a way,but requires a 24/7 watchdog GM,a person who gonna ACTUALLY patrol sever and immidiately respond to bot button,or any other info. Perfect solution is to have 2 GMs ,night/day. But u know..money..it costs money.. Game content would be balanced ,if whole server only farm for items ,or l2store prices were near to 0. Only problem would be rmt which is hard to control. One of solutions is to let pple do this leaglly and give server 10% of transaction. But that way requires way too much hassle.
The hard thing to get is the weapon fragment, all the rest is farmable with clan even if getting level 5 mats it's really hard it's still doable easier than getting fragment

Nah I don't think it's easy, it's indeed the hardest weapon to make, I don't know of anyone making 50k+ materials lvl 5 (I think that's the amount to go from fragment to lvl 3) + gemstones + elcyums + recipes to upgrade materials from level 3 to 5 + dragon claws (limited to 1 per dragon). In case they made it in 4 months it was because they had people farming 24/7 literally (alive, not with bot) and they had for sure materials from the moment the dragon weapons were introduced, because they knew at some point the would need to make a top weapon like this bow

Between Titans and Evis is almost the same on Core, Titans are better for Aoe dmg (with pole) and Evis on 1 target, they are not weaker is the same
