Starting on fresh server sounded awesome first 5 seconds after I read news buuuuuut p2w is too strong. I have a job but I don't work in Switzerland to be able to waste thousand euros or more monthly to stay competitive. Is it too rough to estimate that at least two thirds of population on new server is consisting of players who quit core long time ago or after this one was opened who were playing there for more than a year or two and still got one-shoted all the time and they think this time they will survive in pvp for more than 2 seconds. Naaaaaah dude you need to sell your heritage to have a fair pixel fight. Goodbye ftp p2w this time for good.
I think you should grow out of this attitude to be 'competitive' in a video game. There are so many aspects in life that already challenge you that you should not add a game as one of them. Jumping into L2 is for me a time to relax, have some fun with people in clan. In my opinion you should try to be 'the best' in anything but a video game at some point in your life. This will give MUCH more satisfaction than obtaining a hero on a game that in a year or two you will stop playing because of some reasons. So my advice is: do not quit but try to change your mental attitude to gaming overall Then you will not mind that some players pay to be better in game because it wouldn't simply matter as you are only there to enjoy your free time.
wow you dont know in 2017 that server is P2W??? i dont pay and i know i cant win,but is not a problem for me. Btw...ty for info
U should play the first month where there are no tarot cards yet After that, the game will turn too p2w so it'd be a good time for most people to quit
I'm not judging, but I feel like most of the people who quit because of P2W are people who play 2 hours daily and get upset when they can't kill people who are 1 or 2 grades above them and usually have just a PA. Being competitive means spending either some money or time, if you aren't willing to spend either of these, I'd recommend singleplayer games.
Game is pay to win, deal with it. You can play 18h/day with PA but 1 guy can drop 100~500e and have a B valakas + brooches and +10 shirt. Gl farmin that with pa
I think some people are confusing terms 'being competitive' and 'being top' Obviously you'll never be "top" without paying even if you were playing 24/7 - nobody argues that, but some people act like you literally can't do anything if you don't pay All about exaggerating too much
If u don't pay, u can't do anything against somebody who does. Now it all depends on how many ppl pay
You know, again, that's exaggerating in my book. Do P2W have 100% damage reduction against F2P? Do they have 100% debuff resist against them? Do they prevent F2P from healing their allies? Are they completely resistant against tank's aggro? Do they oneshot a tank with UD with damage cap at 300? I think the answer to these questions is no. I mean, yes - you do less damage to them, you recieve more damage from them, you certainly have much lesser chance of beating them, but saying "you can't do anything against them" is silly, especially since it's a team game. P2W makes you a Batman, not a Superman.
The only game i know that isn't pay 2 win its World of Warcraft, and you just need pure skill to win the game. But most of the games are based on community's help, if you got friends to play nothing can be impossible. And im always saying, better spend money on games that in smoking or drinking. Most of people waste 5 euros per day on tabacco, save that money and use it somewhere else and you don't going to be upset!
