Yes, i know about new macro system, and i've farmed more than i can count on CORE events using macro system on specific spots. Macro have a very high limitation on targets and pickups... Here on this video you can see a true bot trying to use our new macro as an excuse to bot. 1st: /targetnext have a very limited distance to pick a new target on this video you can see the bots jumping on a very far distance 2nd: but they can use /target "specific target" Using specific target, you have a limited amount of targets to pick, it is very danger since you can aggro mobs that are not in your macro. And still, you have 12 slots for macro, if you configure 2 target its already difficult to use all the skills you need to kill. 3rd: /pickup if you use it, it will pick whatever is next to you. We can clearly see on this video, bots picking only ADENA. Let's try to keep the server clean. Try to pay attention on bot characteristics and use the report bot button =)
You need to send it to support, if you put it here the bots can see it and stop doing it, trust me i made the same mistake
its just 2 bots. if i send it to support, they will ban, then what? the bots will create new accounts and do it again? By putting it to all comunity see, those who are afraid can stop using it... and those who dont know how to identify a bot, can start reporting the bots =)
reporting them will make GMs to ban all their accounts at once, so thats most effective way to help how many times they will be willing to start all over again? i guess not many if people will keep reporting bot nicks, you don't even need to fraps.
As i said before, if i just report and send it to support, will be 2 bots banned only. With the new macro ppl, most of ppl dont even waste time by using the bot report button. The intention of this video is to show that even with macro system, we still have bots out there.
no, they check trade chains and do a lot of more to fight them beside that, every single mmo has bots, so deal with it and keep reporting so they move to other server.
Great I found this topic, I have a great story for u bois. I was making Q on Fairies while we noticed there is a guy pickuping adena around us and attacking only targets which attacked him. That's ok - he was summoner and summons were on defensive mode. But true miracles happened when I used all of my marks (i'm a Wynn) and he died to mobs. He came back after few minutes and started again. So once again I spammed all my marks on him and he died from mobs. And again he came back, we tried to communicate with him without any response so we kept "killing" him for around 2hours. He died from mobs like 30 times without even a word or changing methods of pickuping adena etc. I realized it would be nice to check how this obvious bot works and I went back to town right after his death and it was like Newbie Guide -> Buff -> GK -> Fairies -> Walking to spot -> Pickuping adena I checked him 3 times, every time the same story. For first time in my whole Lineage2 career I saw such an obvious bot. Then we killed his summons (it was pretty hard cuz he kept healing them, luckily my friend is Sigel so he pulled him back when his summons were attacking mob) and then he was coming back to spot without summons and he was dying instantly from aggro mobs. No more free exp or free adena for him at this night :C (yes, i'm so satisfied cuz i never tried botting and even new macro setups are confusing me) 2nd part of justice belongs to Innova team, I pressed "Bot Report Button" but not sure if any1 is checking it so I made this post. Below you got a screenshots. I made a videos but 160mb for 1min movie is pretty damn much for my slow internet (still LOL quality)... I know Fragola is checking forum often so I belive in justice PS. Guide of what you need to do in order to report a bot, let's see if people can learn finally: 1- Never post anything in forum, it's just going to help the botter since he can see the topic and switch off the botting program before he gets investigated from staff resulting in a NO ban 2- Posting in forum it's not going to help you in any way, since GM's (Game Masters), don't visit forum at all, and those are the only people that can ban others, any attempt to try that a CM like Fragola watches the thread and passes information to them it's not going to work at all since their protocols aren't working like that 3- When you have a bot or a suspicious character you just need to do 2 things, click the report button ingame (yes, it works) and write a ticket in the support section giving detailed information of when it happened, how it happened and the name of the suspected character 4- Try to be patient, it can take up to 10 working days to get your ticket answered (usually it doesn't take that much, just most strange cases). In order to decide if a person is botting or not it will take them few days, they need to check different stuff to see what's going on
Next ban wave (1 month ban) will be in 3 years. If they rly wanted to stop botting they could. There are private servers where the same bot that works here doesn't work there. Or just make the same thing they did last time. Change smt, let ppl use bot, after 1/2w ban everybody u found. Toomucheffort or toolowmotivation, u decide. Cheers
What are you crying about bots when there are close to 0 bots in Innova? If you find anyone just send a ticket to support and problem solved

NCWest is full of bots.. Innova close to 0? lul Just because u don't see those rivers of new character using that 1-85 script it doens't mean that there are no bots. That script doesnt' work here anymore (actually u just need a few twerks.) Bots are there dudeif u look for them. Bot can be "programmed" to act very similar to a playing human being. Maybe we just have good botters here
@CM Fragola can u answer to us what innova is doing to provide server free from bots? What actions u do to take off bots? Do u check reports? Does report button in game work? OR mby GM is in game and check spots and investigate suspicious players? Or staff only do nothing and count euro from opening Ramona? I ask those q cuz fairy settelment is full of bots and i as a player wana spend my free time to play game and dont w8 time for sending tickets which one u dont check or respond after 10 days+
