This thread is not to report a specific bot because the server is full of them, i guess we all want to know what the admins are going to do about this because Ramona is becoming a west botland server and if they dont do something soon the server will die for sure, look at this today on Forsaken, at least 20 sumoners bots. So admins, the players deserve to know what you are doing to fix this before is too late
It's doesn't matter where he is fighting. The fact is that on the server is too many bots and the admins are doing nothing.
I've been around the map yesterday and the situation with bots was worse than we expected. We ban tens of bots every day 24/7, it is just all the checks are manual and the process takes time. We had an extra meeting to see what else can be done about that. At the moment Forsaken plains are clear as well as WoA and the Forest of the dead. Feel free to port there to see yourself, just like the OP did it: I remind you that adena sellers sell adena from bots, and bots are banned along with chars who get adena from bots.
Yea i was 30 mins ago and it was clear, but i guess is not ideal to have an admin all the time there, the boters are not stupid they will log when no admins on , i hope that the staf can find a way to block this programs, thx for the answer
In fairy settlement also lots of bots... Please make bot report button functional whithout 30mins delay... Not enough time to report over 10 during the day
That's why GMs don't register on GMlist - botters watch us too. But we're on 24/7!!! When I went there this morning, it was already clear, so we found them mostly in WoA. Bams - all banned. So keep reporting )
My question is why u just ban chars? Why not all account or IP adress of this pc who create the account?
who said we ban just chars? As for IPs - a lot of people using battleping and other proxies to improve their connection might get affected, as bots use them too. We don't bans IPs not to affect normal players.

Maybe not on topic with bots, but this is how NCSoft should react about bot makers, hit straight in core of problem in my opinion. NCSoft.KR took some 3rd companies to court since in KR it's strictly illegal to run 3rd party scripting sites and it's pretty easy to win the case, Riot did it also, and NCWest managed to shut down the most well-known bot programs by sending them letters from their lawyers, maybe Innova could try the same with the most active bot program in Core, but I guess they won't since developer it's the same one as Frost developer Anyways Innova always did good with botting programs, just give them some time until they ban so many botting players that they won't even make toons again
l2 bots are made mostly by russians hidding somewhere on siberia, you can't sue noone XD and if you look on blizzard case, they dont sue for botting directly, so yeah, waste of time.
Bots?! It is simple explanation,and server owners know it. 1)adena drop is funny low so nobody pick up,except bot's. 2)prices for gear are so high (obtain from NPC) 3)very rare valuable items drop. But still it is no chance to change it.Situation we have like this from beginning of L2(I do playing l2 from very beginning 15 years do not realy remember,but on Innova from 1st day) on official servers,and ofc politics of Innova
