[17.05.2017] Upcoming changes in L2 Store (brooch, tarots, caskets)

Hey L2 EU Community.


Some of the community members already saw that there was an L2 Store update at Russian version and have been asking me since if EU is going to have those as well.

Yes, we'll have them too, namely:
1) Casket sale (and further removal from L2 store) (Core only)
2) Tarot update (Core only)
3) New brooches (both)

While 1 and 2 are pretty simple, 3 introduces new content and I'm preparing a huge post with all the details which will be published later.

At the moment let me give you the main points of brooch update:
1) 2 new kinds of brooches will be introduced, let's call it type A and type B
2) you need 6-slot brooch to improve it to a new kind
3) you will be able to exchange a usual 6slot brooch to A or B at Shadai
4) new brooches still have 6 slots but give extra stats (A and B - m.def +114; A: CHA +1; B: all stats +2 and Max CP+12%)
5) to get even more stats you can augment your the new kinds of brooches with a special (new) stone
6) this special new stone can also be obtained at Shadai, augmentation can be done at any Blacksmith that applies augmentation to other items.
7) without augmentation both A and B are tradeable
8) augmentation effect is random and gives stats. Augmenting type A gives basic stats (P.Def/M.Def/Speed/Max.HP/Max.MP/STR+1/DEX+1/CON+1/INT+1/WIT+1/MEN+1) augmenting type B gives more basic stats than augmenting an A, and also adds random bonuses to the equipped jewels Lv.4+.

Augmenting type A randomly gives one of the basic stats (P.Def/M.Def/Speed/Max.HP/Max.MP/STR+1/DEX+1/CON+1/INT+1/WIT+1/MEN+1)

Augmenting type B gives more basic stats than augmenting an A, and also adds random bonuses to the equipped jewels Lv.4+, for example, equipping Opal Lv.4+ on this augmented B type could also add up to +50 to your attribute attack.

In the end, you can get, for example, the following augmentation effect on type B: WIT+2, When using Opal Lv.4 Attribute attack +50.

Target is May 23 for casket sale, May 30 for tarot update and June 6 for new brooches.

can you augment only lvl4? or lvl5 aswell? if yes will they still be tradeable?

And effect works only for lv4 or higher jewel

You augment the brooch, the effect for jewels it's working wether they are level 4/5/6 but you can trade those jewels even when the brooch has augment, but you get increased effect for only 1 of the jewels not all of them.

My question is, why is it to expensive to make the new brooch? You need 440 powders to make 6 slots + 110 to upgrade to the one you called A type and then in top of that 220 powders to the one you called B, making it a total of 770 Jewel powders, counting most of people in Core don't have even the 6 slots one (440 powders) and making it close to double price (+330 to those 440) will make even less people to have them with the new bonusses, which at least aren't so OP

Ruby: Increases Pattack by 1%/2%/5%
Sapphire: Increases Mattack by 2%/4%/9%
Obsidian: Decreases received pvp dmg by 1%/2%/5%
Opal: Increases Elemental attack by +10/+20/+50
Emerald: CON +1 / CON + 1 MEN +1 / CON-MEN-CHA-LUC +1
Aquamarine: Max mp +5%/+10%/+20%
Diamond: Pdef +283/Pdef +567 / Pdef + 945
Pearl: Mdef +283 / Mdef +328 / Mdef + 548
Tanzanite: Damage received -1%/-2%/-3%
Garnet: Max HP +2%/+5%/+10%
Vital stone: Vitality xp bonus +1%/+2%/+5%
Red cat's eye: P.skill power +1%/+2%/+5%
Amethyst: Pvp dmg increase +1%/+2%/+5%
Cat's eye: Damage reflect +1%/+2%/+5%

So you can give us information about upcoming L2STORE with details but for Red libra you cannot? It's becouse here you can pay and libra is free event?

 

New Brooch system let more people to be closer player with brooch lvl 6 or it increase the gap between players with lvl 4/5 and 6 ?

Server be more competitive with this or less than is now ?

 

This one is a new piece of content while Libra is pretty much the same mechanic as last time. If you have questions about Libra, you are free to ask in the previous post.

 

Obviously less, since it's an item almost no one will be able to afford (25-30kkk only for the brooch iteself) + count the amount of money you will need to spend to get the desired augment, if price of brooch was like in korean (you could literally make way way way cheaper) it would make everything more balanced

Ramona almost is playable (brooch is bullshyt ban time), put tarot of fishing event or any sh1tty(ban time) p2w event if want to kill Ramona, ty for listening players

Ramona = people, with a bit of RMT on maxcheaters, but no like Core (now)

Core = braindamaged ppl hardcore donors

 

Casket sale on May 23? Shouldn't Red Libra be on May 23? Or does that mean that Red Libra has been postponed or canceled, since you said you wouldn't run more events in one period (https://4gameforum.com/threads/645873/page-3#post-9057130)?

I'm confused now. I hope we still get Red Libra in the future.

 

They usually try to avoid running 2 l2store events or 2 ingame events at same time, but doesn't mean they can't run 1 l2store+1ingame event at same time
