[Event] Horsecoming (Ramona only)

High Horse Galup is back to Elmoreden but now he returns without his brother Hungry Galup! The younger Galup feels lonely without his brother. Clean the hunting zones from monsters and feed a tasty carrot of Elmoreden to cheer him up and get a nice reward!

1. Gather carrots for High Horse Galup​

Eliminate monsters and gather Carrots! As usual, items will not drop from monsters that are 9 or more levels lower than the character (such mobs are dark-blue).​

​

Awakened characters will not receive Carrots in hunting zones for non-Awakened characters. The same is true for characters having completed 3rd Liberation.


2. High Horse Galup
After the maintenance you will meet Galup in all big towns of Elmoreden. You can find it standing on a special event pedestal - or use /target Galup command.​

Galup will tell you the story of its mysterious arrival in Elmoreden, and ask you to bring as much Carrots as you can - Galup is very, very hungry!
Collect 40, 4000, or 40000 Carrots and give them to Galup. It will reward you with a special item - Galup's Special Gift.​

You can also exchange some of your carrots for Entrance Passes to popular instances or cosmetic items! Go pick some great appearances to stand out from the crowd!​

All appearances are permanent.
Entrance Pass: Shilen's Altar is a permanent item and does not have a 1-day timer as two other passes. So it can be used at any time.
You can obtain an unlimited amount of items - the only limit is the amount of carrots you have.​

By the way, if you have a surplus of Adena in your pockets, feel free to spend it for a useful 1-hour buff set! It has a bonus - Blessing of Light (XP/SP +3%)! Each buff set costs only 2 Million Adena.​

Upon giving a certain amount of Carrots to Galup you will obtain a Galup's Special Gift. Open a pouch and receive your reward!​

​

Galup's Special Gift shall be deleted after the event (August 1st), so be sure to open all of your gifts before the server maintenance on August 1st.

Upon opening a pouch you will receive one of the items from the list:​

If you are a lucky one, you will get a Hair Accessory Box with 2 random options. Upon opening, head accessory will get 2 random options from the table below. One from the Option A column, the other one - from Option B.​

1. Carrot drop chance is the same at any time periods (not increased).​
2. Rewards can be received when the inventory weight/quantity is less than 80% full.

Good catch there Cmec, I would also like to ask, 9 levels difference in order not to get event items is for non awakened areas no? If I'm not wrong it's 5+ levels for awakened areas instead of 9+

as far as all farming events awakened or not it was 9lvls difference it means that with 104 lvl u dont go to harnak for example

 

No chasing horses around the map? that was a super cool part of this event.

 

that was super cool part for daggers/mages.. others were just victims of those 2.. (mages had huge advantage of jumping, dagers of stuning before last carrot)
actually im happy no horses to chase.. now just farm farm farm and those mentioned above will not get so rich just for having class advantage

 

Was so hard to go on iss and use angel's touch before they could stun you?

 

Only event what triggered in past some pvp for hungry gallups... And they removed it... Koreans dont like to pvp im sure now

Mm, I think carrots can't drop in non awakened areas even with non awakened toons, didn't manage to get any till now while in awakened area I got couple already

 

Let's see now if those who cry 24/7 about p2w, will farm during this event...

 

Wow again core period when no parties for instances because everyone will sit on character 85 lvl faming this stupid carots =F

 

u know it doesnt change anything, feeding 7 carrots took like 20s or smth, dagger sitting in hide could just stand under horse and wait for drop, because it wasnt finder keeper(last carot fed in this case) but first /pickup

 

As far as I know, there were issues with putting the horse in the new farming areas so it was decided to release the event without those.

So it was decided to release the event without those and now it's literally impossible to farm decent amount of carrots per hour due to that, honestly it's the perfect event not to farm at all

It seems everything is working again now, just did a few service restarts and file checks and i was able to update the game! Once again, sry about off topic

 

I doubt something from the range of 5-10 carrots every 15 minutes can be called an increase, when in last event from only farming horses I was getting around 250-500 carrots per hour, like the increase to compensate the fact of no horses added would need to be at least x5-x10 of what it is now

 

Mobs pre 85 drop them also?
