In this experiment, we will test the https://l2wiki.com/Ignore_Divinity skill land rate and the sequence of cancelling buffs.

Attacker: 99 lvl Feoh Mystic Muse, no buffs, no equipment
Target: 103 lvl Iss Hierophant, no equipment, 2, 5 or 8 buffs without cancel protection.

In the first experiment, we tested the land rate and the number of buffs canceled. The results are summarized in the following table:

    Number of buffs canceled:210
    2 buffs5,50%48,50%46,00%
    5 buffs40,75%37,75%21,50%
    8 buffs74,50%19,00%6,50%
We performed 400 tries in the attempts with 5 buffs and 200 in the rest.
Result: As you can see, the more buffs you have, the higher the chance is to cancel more of them.

When we put down the 5 buffs attempts, we also wrote down the buff slot number to see if it's possible to "protect" some buff by casting it in the beginning or in the end of a buff sequence.

    Slot12345
    Times canceled per 10022,7526,0022,2521,7526,50
The table reflects average slot cancel rate as we had situations where 2 buffs were canceled.

Result: As you can see, every slot was affected.

And if you try to protect a certain buff by overbuffing, you'll get the following cancel situations:

    For 2 buffs: (5.5*2+48.5)/2 = 29.75
    For 5 buffs: (40.75*2+37.75)/5 = 23.85
    For 8 buffs: (74.5*2+19)/8 = 21

Conclusion: The buff canceling system looks complicated enough to see that the developers tried to balance the land rate for various situations. It looks like they tried to achieve equal slot cancel rate for any number of buffs.

It would have been interesting to check with 20 buffs on which slots you lose buffs. 5 buffs are not enough to check, because the "range" of cancel was supposedly around that.

Experimentarium team tests what people request.

The jewel wasn't requested for this test by a player. SO if you want to test specific jewel or buff that should increase cancel resist, feel free to request a new test.

We combine Ru and EU requests in the following process:
After the request is accepted and reviewed it falls into the progress queue, then gets performed by Experimentarium team and published in RU forum, then translated into English and published in EU forum.

I can dig RU forum and give you precise requests links, should I spend my time doing it or you'll believe me just like this? )

If you think we can test something more interesting in your opinion, feel free to request it in the Request thread.

When everybody are 102+ with pve/pvp sets or atleast +6-+8 eternal and wth talismans, epics etc .idk how this can comes handy. These calculations are based on target with no armor and no weap, same attacker .. so like i cant never use this in pvp/oly cuz its just nonsense and everybody have atleast 20 buffs in mass pvp and u can cancel almost every buff. I woudnt say if u test differenc between weapons of different M.atk ..More M.atk = more % that u will get through target defence and delete some buffs, otherwise he can even reflect this buff with high pdef/mdef and debuff resistance or ud etc.

if you think m.atk affects land rate, you can request it as well - it's a different test.

Just curious. Why don't you just look at what Ignore Divinity does in the code of the game? :3348:

Actually, the rates of all skills should be available, in my opinion, in the skills descriptions.

Not sure if affects on feoh cuz i tried on iss divine cancel(these skills are pretty similiar) with immortal gun and tauti duals and with tauti it looks i have bigger chance than with low weap or it was just luck idk ..And those test i think should be make on target with some armor cuz without armor these debuffs are almost 100% landrate ..Otherwise depends on passive skill on each class how big change will be here .Land rate on healer will be different than for tyrr or sayahs imo.
