In this experiment armor, physical and magic weapon enchantment rate is going to be checked. During the experiment, character’s LUC rate was equal to 0. 200 attempts were made for each level. The result is stated below:
Just use mathematics and should be simple to calculate, it's 200 items multiplied by the chance of getting each of the stages, I will do them myself for the bow, you just need to change numbers to do it for rest. It's just combination of probabilities of every step From +3 to +4: 200*0.55 = 110 From +3 to +5 = 200*0.55*0.54 = 59.4 From +3 to +6 = 200*0.55*0.54*0.545 = 32.373 From +3 to +7 = 200*0.55*0.54*0.545*0.295 = 9.55 From +3 to +8 = 200*0.55*0.54*0.545*0.295*0.305 = 2.91 From +3 to +9 = 200*0.55*0.54*0.545*0.295*0.305*0.325 = 0.95 From +3 to +10 = 200*0.55*0.54*0.545*0.295*0.305*0.325*0.285= 0.27
No it's not true at all, read the experiment carefully, I said I calculated only for the bow, for other 2 items it's different, and that's counting they used NO enchant stones, NO enchanting shirts (maprh +7-10) and NO luc in the char at all to not trigger lady luck's chance (0 LUC = 0% chance to trigger it), in reality it should be way higher chance
Yes but that is just probability. It is statistical interpretation of probability to enchant bow to +10 in 7 enchants. The real chance is separate for each enchant as stated for example 28,5% from +9 to +10... You can be lucky and get it in a single attempt from +3 and the probability of this happening is 0,13% so nobody would bet on it... Real chance for each of these enchants is over 25% and growing with lower enchants. It is like a roulette. There is always 50-50 whether the color will be red or black but what is probability of 15 reds in a row? Very unlikely.
Last weapon I tried to enchant myself in example I made it from +0 to +10 using 10 normal EWR and 7 EWR enchanting normal stones (those for +20% chance) using maprh pots / maprh shirt +10. What Filda said is totally true and it's how it's working, 0.13 is the chance of enchanting from +3 to +10 w/o fail counting they didn't use EWR stones, EWR 10%, GEWR, LUC, Maprh shirts etc, so real chance it's way higher
You were very lucky, extremly. I know those rates don't take in account another thing that increase your chance, but anyway, when they say it increase 20% chance it means if you have 10% probabilities, then you have 12% not 30%, otherwhise you would get near 70% probabilities all the time with all l2 store stuff and other things. If it would as easy as you say, the server would be plenty of OE equipment just buying l2 store, and it is not like this. We should make another experiment using all the stuff to increase chance to enchant, and then we would see who is right. Extremly lucky the guy from +3 to +10 with only 1 weapon.
That is why people have 'methods' for enchanting. For example break 3 weapons in a row and than enchant the main weapon. Because it feels like the chances are higher or the probability of 4 fails in a row is small. But at the end of the day you can still fail and you can still make +10 in 1 minute with 7 clicks. That is why you should not even think of probabilities like this and instead ask yourself whether you are willing to press enchant now without any stone with 28.5% or with stone and Luc potion and such with 36.3% chance. At least everyone thinks that now, maybe the game code and mechanic of enchanting is not working in percentages therefore could be abused somehow.
Question....Enchanting rated stuck each other ? for example armor from 3->4 is 67%.....if have maphr shirt +10 (+15%) and lucky stone +15% it will go up to 67+15+15 = 97% chances to go +4 or not ?
Oooh that's how it goes then Thanks a lot , it was fast and very helpfull Sep 29, 2017 I have another one......is it possible to know how much , LUC adds ? i mean 50 LUC = how much +% enchant rate ?
LUC dosent give any +% for enchant rate. It's seperate success chance and when it triggers there is "lucky clover above character", as I remember max chance for this is 20% and it has soft-cap at 60 LUC. @edit https://eu.4gameforum.com/threads/584436/
