PK Bug

Seems like abusing server delay, since it's already posted that it's allowed to use in-game macro, even if you aren't actively watching the screen.
And since other regions already catching up, I guess we are falling behind like usual.

This is a game mechanic, we don't consider PK system and drop from PK chars "an issue"

Nope, it's a lot easier, made with 100% game mechanics but I won't share this info in public in order to prevent much more abuse of this mechanic.

Already asked like 1 month ago because of the same situations at RU, so.... we expect to get it very soon.

As much as we as a team don't like the idea of "24/7 afk exp" - it's a part of the game functionality and we won't ban for it. The same is for PK and the way people abuse this system to drop items from other players - we don't like the whole situation, but no bans will be issued for players who do that in a known "legit" way. The right way to fight with it would be a "nexttarget" fix which as I already mentioned is going to be installed as soon as we get the patch. If you have any doubts about "legitimacy" and want GMs to check - don't be shy and send a ticket.

 

Thank you for your answer CM Fragola. We will wait answer of ticket. I hope they can say this is Legal or illegal. If it is Legal ,we learnt what to do... if it is an illegal action,we will wait and see what will happen next...

 

She already answered it. Ppl are welcome to go and (not)abuse that way, cuz they won't ban u. So care boys I'll be roaming for macros tonight. But I'm cool dude will send u items back, for like 75% of market value.

 

So we can use this way and no punisment for this. Ok . Lets start hunting AFK farmers... if anyone need help to hunt afk farmers I will help them to make PK and kill to drop their items. Also I dont want any items just want to see how many victims can we see on forums and how many people will leave server because of this stupid bug. sorry in-game mechanics...
All good people will turn into monsters with that way like real life! I hate that... This world was so nice until I read this is in legal ways and no bans for abusing this...


Btw, I learnt how they make this abuse. It is game mechanics so everybody can learn and use it. Just check original l2 forums and see how they did before...

 

U guys got my blessings! Go and hunt as many as u possibly can,best would be to catch an abusers,but anything will make me happy .

I think you can't understand what we try to do here. We just want some punishments to those people who abuse game mechanics or bugs in bad way... This will kill server faster. But if you want to be in a server with 20-30 active people I can share how did they make this abuse . Also it is legal and nobody can say anything to me to share a video from youtube...

 

I think innova made it clear: it's legal for now. Go and hunt some items, boys and girls.

 

But if u share it publicly you will get ban on the forum

I won't share it to public. No need to do that. Just sit and watch what will happen in future. Still I have hopes. Innova can say if anyone do this they will be punished. This is ingame mechanics but kind of an abuse that efects server players. Hopes good wishes this is my lifestyle... Have fun at game...

 

There are a lot of ways to mess with people in L2. We can't punish for every game mechanic thinking it was used with bad intent. The warning for afk macroing was given multiple times.
But the attitude "let's go and hunt everyone so the server dies" is totally in your hands, not mine or NCsoft, don't blame us for it.

 

I dont think this is correct comparision. If people would cry about they died, because they flagged, none can say a word.
But if they ask legitimate question: How can i make PK point without holding CTRL, resp. using force attacks?, that quite different story.

So maybe instead of warnings about AFK macroes u should spam warnings "Your character can become chaotic even if u are not attacking your opponents with force attacks"
I never read something similar, i would even say ( but im not sure and i cannot find all changelogs for GoD in this forum ) i read "If u hit your opponents with force attack your character will become chaotic"

 

But this is not what's happening.

When you use forceattack on unflagged character you normally flag.
You become chaotic when you kill an unflagged character. <--- this is what's happening.

So the warning would be "Your character can become chaotic if you kill an unflagged character", but that's way too K.O.

 

Ok so new warning. U can kill unflagged and not chaotic character without using force attacks.

 

It's the same as PKing newbies at spawn spot.

Do we like it? Not really, players complain about that.
Has PK system been designed to harass newbies? I don't think so.
So it is an abuse of legal game mechanic? Looks like it.
Is it still legal? Yes
Should we ban people because of this? We don't think so.

 

well then if there is no punishment for this why i pay for l2 store when i can get items by stealing other people items thanks for info that is enough for me now im just waiting support to answer me to be sure is that legal or no

i dont care about my items back i already buy back most of the things but atleast delete items that was taken this way this is a way to stop that person to use this
he is doing it and he is not going to stop until forum is full of posts like mine

 

Its your choice to left afk macro, you have to know what conequences can that be.

I know this since very beggining and always did macro on specific targets, but even this is not save at all.

Its legal, same as your afk macro... in game content. Thanks you good bye you can cry a bit more in your corner.

You can wait until next update when you can choose between next targeting only on mobs or on players.

 

We got answers Thank you CM Fragola. We were writing this topic because we are afraid this PK system make many ppl annoyed and they will leave server. I couldn't tell everything easy my English is not enough to explain. I want to give an example. After an update, buying an item from 4kk from npc and selling from 40kk to npc and making adenas with that way until developers correct this prices. this is normal? You can say no it is not normal . but this is in-game mechanics. an npc buys and sells . Or a raid boss problem that was happened at aden. a player get raid boss to aden and killed afk player shops. those were at in-game mechanics too.
I want to say again and again. Just make an announcement please if players killed at afk macro with PK ing by another player it is not a bug and that can be doable by all players and Don't put afk macro . So everybody can learn that and they won't use afk macro.

I said Lets start hunting but sorry for that. I will never do that kind of things because it is not my style. Just I was a bit angry because Innova don't say using this system is not allowed until Macro patch coming.
Also if it is possible please make some advertisements on some channels. So many people can join server and enjoy fun with us...

 

Macro is not a problem, the real problem is PK without Force attack and this is not the mechanics of the game, it is the bug, the more that korea fixed it.
