Is it true that Lineage is dead, not wort to play, etc.?

What do you guys even mean by saying "new people"? Anyone who hasn't played L2 before would never start and commit to this game today, with or without L2 Store.
Many thousands play on privates and the best advertisement, that's also free, is L2 players discussing with each other about new servers or exciting changes on existing servers.
What makes this game awesome is the PvP and the conflict and if there is any today ends up happening between the most geared players, because only they can compete for the resources(farm) of a server.
Either give people a chance improving with better farm options/events so it's not 100% driven by L2 Store like now or match RU L2 Store prices making it accessible to more people, you can even try a combination of those.
Core population has been declining the last years, but right now it has very good action between the top clans and that's a unique selling point, none of NCWest's servers have that.
Now is the time Innova+Devs should seize this opportunity, be proactive about it and not wait until that goes away.

 

joining every possible clan in server then scamming max possible items from them and leaving after + spaming l2store button doesnt qualify as "you know the game, and how to play it" or at least for most ppl that are not scammers like him.

 

Maybe you, but not me. I prefer game for the years, not for months. Currently playing L2 since 15 years. Problem for now is just too expensive and not fair donate system, thats all.

Day 2 over.



Started with doing https://l2wiki.com/Pailaka_-_Devil's_Legacy for some experience/adena + braclet. Also nice time to remember good old Devil isle. And gihly sugest doing it, since it is fun and easy.

Sugestions for the day: if you are missing some xp after finishing your quests, to get next letter - try checking https://l2wiki.com/Adventurers'_Guides. He might have some nice quest to get necesary experience, and tiny boost in adena. Also can ask him for some wisdom.
Also when ever you are farming and leveling up, try looking for "Dimensional Treasure Chests", they will provide with nice buffs, and most importantly will alow you to get 1 Attribute Crytal, https://l2wiki.com/Scroll:_Enchant_Armor_(R-grade) or even https://l2wiki.com/Scroll:_Enchant_Weapon_(R-grade) . That will be nice boost in your current "bad" financial situation by 2-8 milion adena.

Best sugestion/idea of the day: Why not adding item to l2store, that would provide premium for certain amount of period while purchased (30,60,90d). It would alow more people to get premium, by buying from others. Either by making it tradable item that activates premium when used, or based on when ever it is purchased with ability to use L2Store gift function. Many people would love to buy premium, using in game curency, but with current system is basicly imposible.

Day 3 went well. Reached 80 level. Today planing to go forward.



Besides quest line in Ketra, I sugest to do https://l2wiki.com/Pailaka_-_Injured_Dragon and once again check Adventurers' Guide in towns for extra quest.
After 3rd profesion quest it is a good idea to make quest line from npc, that profesion quest was delivered (https://l2wiki.com/Menacing_Times) and try doing it for extra XP/adena.

During stream once again sitation, that people can not enjoy even simple PVE without any sort of investment. Making my statement about bringing back Unindentifiend items to game even more valid.
Also there were opinion about decreasing L2Store price by 1/3-1/2 to make it more accesable for majority of people.
Huge problem was mentioned that it should be possible to log 2 accounts without PA, since box sometimes is mandatory and not everyone can/want afford PA.

Dont forget to tune up for todays stream that should go live in next 15-20min.

 

Day 4




80-84
Was doing quests in https://l2wiki.com/Primeval_Isle
Why? It gives a decent amount of XP, an amazing amount of adena (for that level) also https://l2wiki.com/Scroll:_Enchant_Weapon_(A-grade) and a chance to enter https://l2wiki.com/Sailrens_Den and challenge Primeval Queen, herself.
Besides that, for fast levelling did https://l2wiki.com/Dragon_Valley quest line, that gives 81+ quests.
Ended up doing a 1-time quest in https://l2wiki.com/Beast_Farm to get 1x https://l2wiki.com/Water_Crystal .
Also always checked for Dimensional Treasure Chest.



Day 5 (The Awakening)



84-85
Day started by finishing quests in https://l2wiki.com/Shrine_of_Loyalty for decent XP/adena and 1 free Attribute Crystal of your choice. Went to do https://l2wiki.com/That_Place_Succubus that lead to https://l2wiki.com/Imperial_Tomb . Well fast XP, and some adena from reward ( +mobs are dropping 10-30x more adena than Dragon Valey).
Did fast https://l2wiki.com/Winds_of_Change quest line for fast 2milion adena and continues with 2x dailies that I strongly suggest for everyone ( https://l2wiki.com/Grave_Robber_Rescue & https://l2wiki.com/Lucien's_Altar ) It is possible to do them both at the same time and for awakened char should take max 10-15min.
Day finished by doing an awakening quest and finally making me Feoh Soultaker!

What I noticed Monk of Chaos does not give me any Quest since I levelled char old style, not with Balthus knight help.. and that is sad. I wanted my bracelet. :/

Day 6



85-86
The day started with doing 2 quests in mithril mines ( as expected, after awakening this quest takes only 10-15min). Followed by Adventures guild quests in https://l2wiki.com/Harnak_Underground_Ruins and https://l2wiki.com/Altar_of_Evil
Quests for that can be taken at Herphah and Penny on the right. One of the Pennys' quests required to make Kartia Labyrinth . So made solo and party (with 3 more players).
Took https://l2wiki.com/To_the_Seed_of_Annihilation and made dailies in https://l2wiki.com/Seed_of_Annihilation . Location is meant for party farm but can be farmed solo as well. Also did Nursery but apparently it is quite decent only for XP nowadays, immortal item reward not worth anymore.
Sadly doing https://l2wiki.com/Freya brought not much luck. Maybe next time.

What is extremely sad, enormous bot invasion was noticed... I have hopes something will be done with that..

Hi guys. I'm a real new player, no friend, no help, no donations.
Started in october 2017, now I have R95 light set (+3+4+4+3+3) lvl 4 attribute and some higher.
R99 bow +4 with 1 SA kain lvl5.
Blessed zaken, blessed frintezza, coc stun 20%, baium
commando belt
octavis shirt
enhance octavis bracelet
venir 5
talisman destruction
brooch 3 slot with emerald, ruby, diamond, all lvl 1 (and pearl lvl1 in inventory)
dex +3 pendant
I did all this just playing with the market.
The main problems are two: performance (lag on aden is embrassing), exping (too slow).
The performance are important for pvp and I'll never be good enough to do it (except for olympiad), so I can tell nothing more than IMPROVE THE MACHINE.
The exping is a very big problem because without lvl, you can't access to better raid so can't have access to better drops and you are stuck.
If reaching lvl 101 will be easier, you will see much more ppl playing. Now most of the good field raids, are exclusive property of geared player and it makes impossible to other ppl to improve equipment on different ways than buy (with adena which they don't have!!).

Sorry for bad english but I think the message is clear: make easier go up with lvl to allow more ppl to go for nice raid and nice drop. Make more exp event (heavy +++exp).
Other good thing will be an event like team vs team with some reward for the winning team. I did it on many unofficial server (play l2 since 2004/2005) and they were keeping servers alive because that event was funny and the gift was useful. Doing this on offi server will be great in my opinion.
Btw if Fragola or someone else will be interested to know what to do to help real new player (on offi), send me a message....and please fix that bug on yul's flash! Doesn't give +50 speed...i know it's something not very important but come on, is the official server, I play here because the most of unoffi servers are full of bug!!

like, really, I do try to hold everything, but there's 50% chance I'll forget it when I get to work tomorrow today and the ticket system holds everything.

Illegal servers have a different life cycle, so I'm not quite sure you can safely transfer those mechanics to the official. But y, I'm curious.

 

Its not a machine causes lags,but extremly old game engine and that it self wont change.
It would require an NCsoft involvment and investment.
For them L2 is already dead and not worth it.
Deal with it.

 

People need to feel that their efforts are being rewarded by playing the game and then you have L2 Store to complement that.
Seven years since GOD was introduced and the same mistakes are being made, decrease worthwhile farm and increase L2 Store.

 

This is the summmary of what I think should be good:
Satisfy the desire of PVP:
- on open field or coliseum (making buffs more economic)
- on nice event like tvt or capture the flag, etc. Introducing nice reward, like sibi's box reward.
Make ppl able to farm even alone (MAINLY FOR QUEST or LITTLE INSTANCE or JUST HAVE A WALK ON OPEN FIELD) without emptying the pockets:
- making buffs more economic
Make EXP easier (with a continues exp events) to involve more ppl on the interesting part of the game(higher lvl farm and instance). This way you'll have more motivated new player and even more motivate old player which will want to stay stronger with the "problem" due to more competition on open filed raid, olympiad, coc, siege.

This way life time will not change, you will just have more happy player in my opinion. Drop more distribuited but the server amount will not change(not more %)

Started by doing https://l2wiki.com/Not_Strong_Enough_Alone and Kartias_Labyrinth 85 solo. Afterwards kept on doing Pennys' quests and of course mythical run in Mithril Mine.

Great news! All 85+ zones seemed to be cleaned from bots and were extremely pleasant to farm in.

Could you tell me while making quests and exping on lvl 85-87 now is there a chance to find any party for k85 group or teredor? Cause that will incrwase speed of exping and give more pleasure for new players if they dont need to do only solo stuff. I will have some free time next week and I wonder is worth to try get some fun again.
