TBH I'm pretty sure Tiat will be a dumpster fire, which will make me more motivated to return to Skelth. Yay...

 

But this is excatly what it supposed to be, innova does care only for income, not for playerbase; that's why no advertisements whatsoever.
Donors will donate and all will go as planned.

I laugh from this fail bigger than Ramona, and everyone know who plays on Tiat so new players don't care about this forgotten by gods game

 

when did you see last time an add in tv/radio/website about lineage 2? there are non, so the player base cant increase much ...

 

And did u saw in all of these what u said informations about Final Fantasy XIV? FF XIV was in worse condition than L2, it was counted as biggest fail of Square Enix and bankrupt title. Guess what actually it's best game of 2018, but it took them really much work to move it from dead game, in L2 say me what u got? Same engine as in 2004, only change is store, and how to flood money. On opposite every game Koreans develops is about, spending money only, and nothing else so don't hope that L2 gonna rise like a phoenix from the dusts...

 

There isnt any point in spending money in advertisement for this game.
Like, who are those adds targeting?
The people that have never heard of Lineage 2? How exactly do you sell a Korean (anyone that follows MMO's will automaticly go: pw2 garbage), isometric MMORPG?
The people that have played and are currently not playing? Tell me about that advertisement when the first place they'll go is the forums. And then what?
The people that are playing "elsewhere"? All those players have valid reasons to not be "enjoying" the Official Experience. Adds will change that, how?

There is no meat in the game. The owners of said game have no development team ready to make significant changes. Even if they had, they have no reason to because there are still players showering them with money.

PS: I wouldnt be surprised if this new server was a thing that was in the deal between NCSoft and INNOVA for its EU license.
NCsoft: Time for a new server!!
INNOVA: There isnt popuplation to sustain a new server.
NCSoft: Talk to the hand!

 

It's really sad because the new chronicles are quite fun in its core, it's just the P2W that kills it... They really should try the new chronicles server with subscription system and zero L2store... This way they could also boost the solo zones/kartia etc. for solo players because bots wouldn't be such a big issue.

But that's the issue with Innova has to solve with itself - it's how they represent the community's ideas to NCsoft. I doubt there's any pressure from Innova's side, I bet they just send regular status reports and any serious issues are just some kind of "suggestions" without any weight added to them... NCsoft knows nothing about EU players

 

NCSoft knows nothing about EU players because NCSoft doesnt care about EU players (and US, etc for that matter).
If we go about blaming exclusively INNOVA for everything, because they do not communicate with NCSoft, then what is NCWest's excuse?
Servers in this side of the world have been losing players for how long? What did NCSoft do to, at the very least, slow down that bleed? Yeah..

Anyone that has a business would want to know what their customers (or potential customers) are looking for, regardless of the distance and considering things like place, culture, available income, religion, etc.

 

Exactly my thoughts, other companys paying millions for Market Research to reach more costumers and bind them to their company, but nc soft they look to me like they wanna get rid of costumers, dont ask me why and how they manage to destroy such a goldmine as l2 is , maybe a few people here with money should unite and try to buy the L2 licences and make L2 great again

 

It has nothing to do with ncsoft.

Innova already discriminating eu compared to ru servers in every aspect of the game, communication and management.

Innova cant event pay 50 eur to youtubers/twotch streamers who have been loyal to the game promoting it for years while private servers somehow magically can pay nearly twice as much for a single stream.

The greed is the name of the game and Innova for that matter.

Streaming MMORPG's only work if they are good. The end. (and by work, i mean work. Not being on top streams of the evening)
L2 Orfen is as far from good you can get. It is owned by a Korean company, its F2P, uses unreal 2 engine, plays like an isometric game, has no quality story/lore content, pvp is not only a different game from pve, its also, not unbalanced, broken.
Just to give you an example, in TERA people complain (or used to in the past) about classes that could stun you from 100 to 0 (from full health to death). They'd be happy here since there is no stun involved and you dont have time to even see your life bar go down..
In Black Desert (at the beggining!), people btched about pets and ghillie suits. They labeled the game P2W. Oh boy, they'd have a blast here.

Long story short. MMORPG's are not only niche, but a very small slice of the gaming pie. (so is their playerbase) The games will become smaller and smaller simply because they have failed, they fail, and will continue to fail to adapt to the expectations of the players.
You have a couple of MMORPGs that manage to do fine and a lot of MMORPGs that manage to piss people off to the point they become almost jaded. And these people you wont atract with videos and streams. You bring them with a good game.
And if the game is good, you dont need to spend a dime on advertising. The MMORPG comunity is small to the point that the power of spreading the word is indeed powerful

 

Yea... the whole add/stream/influencer billion dollar industry is completely worthless....

Also, these 2 are not separate but integral. These twitch streamers can easily bring tens and hundreds of people for Innova (which means they register and buy pa at least once), what happens after that of course its in the hand of the game and devs. These ads is all about getting the foot in the door not to keep players from quitting.

I am not arguing who is good bad streamer, but the same streamer can probably get 100 Eur for a day of streaming private server while Innova pays 50 Eur ONLY if you get 100 people in.
