What en, a lot more than that will join L2 essence EU when it opens, it actually looks like a fun project even for non-classic players, let's hope they don't kill it too quick.

I believe it will die , it will keep people hyped for a bout a 5-6 months ,and than they will ruin it with some P2W , as otherwise they would not make any revenue ( or at least decent one ) .. The idea looks amazing ,but execution is what matters here .. Fingers crossed they will do it , they way people want it.
It will die, its same classic with custom classes and l2store (brooches etc). On the other hand, most will be unhappy anyways because they want something that never has been in the game, fast level, fast grind and fast top items.
This is what many successful privates have and it actually works, let's see if the devs can learn something from their competition. Although, an easy improvement would be making the game the same as in Korea which has by far the best, most enjoyable and affordable version out of all regions.
First learn to read before commenting. Thanks It's completely different business models. Private servers, pay 200 Eur get top gear, pvp for 3-6 months> wipe> reapeat. Agree that Korea has the best version of l2 with both most affordable l2store and game support, but it is also same Koreans who dictate what we get here with small exceptions maybe.
I can't post any privates here but you can find servers, mostly ru, with same/more content, faster grind, cheaper store and more ppl.
If you talk about private servers that has close to or official game just with higher rates, then l2 store is not that much cheaper than Ru off for example and people happily put 100-200 eurs regularly. Also if you check some of the bigger streamers, those who put money are always way ahead of everyone else due to that. There is less gap ofc but it is only because servers are newer ones. If you talk about servers where you can buy full boost for fixed amounts - its a different business model and really cannot be compared to us.
