Why tank hasn't used a single time Rising smash, chain gust, chain strike, shield impact, shield wave nor aggro aura?
Imo we should bring Maximo and Hax back as clan leaders and keep server alive . Orthus only wants to get fed both ingame and irl ( at least irl he achieved it )
idk, aura on, although deeper in sos it is not a good idea to use it. skills i don`t spam all, i have some i prefer, although most u listed were used at some point. also, lately it is only important to keep archer alive during skills, while oponents have no cele/ud
aggro aura was recently changed to force peoples target you during pvp or i miss something? btw no party solidarity.
The lvl required to win pvp going down as the number of people pvping is going down. Coïncidence ? I don't think so !
so landing a stun on their dd/heal rooting or -90 heal is not worth it? At least in this video you seem to stand more than do anything tbh
idk why u focus on useless skills rather than his overall focus: - He lost sight of candypaint and wasted his pt rescue completely - He block rez wrong target after being aggro'd for over 1 or 2 seconds (so it wasnt just unlucky) - He clicks skills which he shouldnt really click. He is however right saying that you dont necessarily need to be spamming skills and losing focus on whats important (being free to instantly use a defensive skill rather than waiting ur char to be free because of casting time on other skills u spam)
Explain how these skills are useless? Good tank should be able to do both, apply debuff/pressure and watch his party back. It's hard but thats the difference between tank and good tank. PT rescue and rez block were pretty obvious thats so why point out. Im more interested in why he completely ignored some of tank's kit. Also, which skills he should not use and why? Apr 19, 2019 If we follow your logic nobody should ever use any debuffs
People should only do as much as they can handle and are comfortable with and the priorities are as Hax said. He should not use the skills he's clicking so he can do the rest properly. To do more you got to learn to cover a larget area on your skillbar with hotkeys. P.S.: Rewatched the video and block ressing the tank was a clever choice in fact, since enemy was on lingering, so they needed ud and he block ressed archer and tank at the same time (idk if intentional).
I do get what Hax and you said on priorities, but him being slow at multitasking does not mean using those skills is useless.
They are not completely useless, but unless you play on a very high APM level and know what is happening on the pvp. Eg.: Let's assume Archer gets angel instead of 1 healer: You count down their purges, check their rotation, pull/silence/stun one healer while staying close to candypaint to help him out. (I did NOT check the landrate of tank skills on +20 and 110 and the current meta jewel setup; on high end pvp only silence had some meaningful use usually). If the archer doesn't get angel, you try to do the same to him and switch targets immediatly to focus the healer after tank is dead. BUT if infact he is not fast enough to do all this, it's better to not do it at all and lose focus. Also all Tank skills have a casting time: Lets say you waste 1 second to cast silence, enemy opens brooch same time, your pt calls for UD. You miss out on 1 second + 1 second server delay + UD cast time + any miliseconds you lose by changing focus from "disabling the enemy healer or dd [which does take your focus because you basically only have a 1-2 seconds window]" to "pressing pt UD". The time loss is the 1 second casting time of silence and the reaction time to switch. Together with server delay you open up your pt to die real quick. So as a matter of fact, you are right saying that on top gameplay level he should've done more, but from an effective pov I can only complain about the bigger mistakes which I have mentioned before.
mistakes u mention are all true, also it is extremely hard to focus when u fight 3-4 dds who can one shot you.fighting 1pt is different. block ress on tank was a fail. nine aegis was a fail, but then u can try following archer on flash but easiest is to watch and comment, in reality its a bit different
Rio said block ressing the tank was a good idea ! Anyway the only that matters are two things : if you play as your party (your friends I guess) is asking you to. Second is that you enjoy Playing w/e game , the rest is superficial and useless
I totally agree, that if someone is not fast/skilled/trained enought, it is better to do less and focus on important things. But it would be fun to watch all of those "skilled" wallets (not every one ogcourse, there are good players for sure) playing for example SC2 on high level, where skill matters and no option to use money to get an adventage.
if one make ingame macro and use this char as box it will be at least twice better than this guy playing...
