The biggest problem is the shift away from 24/7 farming. It's impossible unless you pay significant sums of money. Ultimately the inequality that this drives between those that can pay, and level up fast, and those that are only able to play for free (and thus a few hours a day), will mean that the free players will simply be not competitive in the long run. I'd imagine after the initial excitement and nostaliga, the playerbase will quite quickly ebb to 1-2 hundred people who are invested in the game financially. They could solve this issue of course, by upping the free SG potions, or allowing you to farm gold without SG and bringing the normal mats and crafting system back. Currently, without paying for L-coins, I don't see how anyone will be able to level much farther than lvl 65 because the free d-grade armour + c grade weapon will only take you so far. And you can't farm enough adena to buy upgrades, nor can you readily craft them. Bit unbalanced at the moment. Hopefully they'll address this in a future update.

All in all l2 essence eu it's innova's answer to that cra p called ncwest classic and all in all l2 essence eu it's far way cheaper than that, a lot far way cheaper + it's all about pvp + you don't have to wait months or years to gear up praying for paying yeah because p2p means that on ncwest [pray to pay] Do you remember when we prayed 7 years to get the elemental shirts in the l2 store but neutron and conguero waited 2 years to do an event about those shirt to raise the prices up and up? There is a bit of a misunderstanding about the 24h/7days afk grind It's simply impossible even investing tons of $ on pixels That beeing said with the only exception of a couple of 8 yo kids who will hit 76 this week and then quit as fast as they leveled up to go to do the locusts on another mmo i guess l2 essence eu will have a great success amongst the playerbase if they will upload an english version of the wiki It's a big if because all of us know what the p2w business model means. I still remember when Draecke from Chronos server linked on ncwest forums the instruction Fragola wrote on innova for the events because on ncwest the CMS were so busy with the chicks in Vegas that they didn't have the time to post those instructions either. To the ones who never played on ncwest i'll try to give you an idea of what we have to suffer for 14 years - ncwest black friday discounts - jewel boxes 150 = 200 € - innova event - jewel boxes 200 = 25 € Last but not least i'm glad innova is doing its job with an aggressive marketing [the video on youtube] It was about time If someone would have told to me that innova had an eurean server running i would have saved tons of grands for sure.
I feel you man, I didn't know this server was so superior in every aspect, the wiki alone is a big plus.
This is ZERO Future in this version, it's PURE PTW. Unless you have and want to spend a ton of cash in the version leave now.

Problem is s that you will be not able to do anything to hardcore real money trade clans, they will own castle and farm all rb There will be nothing left to do for casuals and mids
Not true, there will be like 5-10% of hard donators, another 90% of non-donators can kill em if united. Also all donators wont be in same clan or ally, so its gonna be donators + casuals vs donators + casuals
only that is not how it is now on RU where top donators have one side control over server , at least Yellow, where im playing from opening 5 months or so ago, there is no castle siege cos noone even attempts to go there, there is no pvp for epics cos nobody can do anything to top donators everything you have here was on ru servers, just cheaper, update after update they will bring in p2w stuff and cut options to get any currency in game, you will just have to spent cash
