There is no such thing as a 100% mathematical chance, once any of the steps falls below 100%. I must admit I could not follow the "luck" analysis. However, mathematics does absolutely apply here, assuming the odds given by the game are honestly applied and assuming there are no modifiers (for example, based on the "luck" stat of the character). To compare it to flat earth or homeopathic medicine is simply incorrect.

I have 1 question, in the excel it says "You Will Need 2 Dragon Belt +0 to make x1 Dragon Belt +1 at 100% Rate and Small Chance for x1 Dragon Belt +2" So I bought 2 belt chests. However, they both broke. Why is that? Then I bought 2 more and they both broke too :S I thought you said it was 100% that's why I spend money :S Can you calculate the exact enchant rates? I have 16 more chests, I want to get +3 or +4. Thank you

well if u think those ideas are mathematically right i guess we will have to cancel centuries of progresses,say Bernoulli,Poisson,etc were tools (whatever it means) and start to study this brilliant theory at school once again,im not saying that in game it work like it should and math says cos probably there are other "modifiers" as u say,so not knowing them we cant say exactly how is enchantment % in L2.what im saying is that mathematically his assumptions are wrong,his calculation of the % in the example is wrong,and so on,or better is not me saying this,math is. Hi DapperBae, I'm unable to give you straight answer and i see where all this calculation can break - at the end of the day its just theory. For me personally it worked, with a big BUT - 1 out of 7, 6 scenarios where predicted accurately, I was able to tell how many user will have at the end of the enchantment, But there was 1 scenario that happened week + some days ago, I've spent 100 eur (before this spreadsheet) to try make belt +5, I've failed, but i had similar amount of +4 as i predicted. ( x4 ), but i broke on going to 5. any who, i tested this once again last weekend, and i got +5 (but +4's were accurate, x4 of them). I did yesterday another test with land dragon pendants, wanted to make it +6 and with 3000L's i made x2 pendants at +6, that was recorded and streamed via discord. To be short, i cannot explain that and maybe I'm wrong, but as mentioned before this is my view of chance vs Luck. Would be awesome if Jumi could experiment it

@DapperBae if there are not hidden things in game,enchanting 16 belts u have more or less 87% of chance of having at least one +3 and a little less than 50% to have at least one +4. If u are looking for something that give u mathematically 100% to have it,sorry,not in this universe.
