Dual Box?

I haven't played in a while, I keep getting disconnected after logging in my 2nd account and opening up 2nd client? I was able to log both accounts before, did they make it so you can't dual box anymore?

We all waiting for some updates about dualbox but I guess nobody read this forum.

 

Hmm that's weird, because i saw people in game with 2 clients up?

we don't talk about dualbox here, it never happened. Innova too busy doing nothing to care bout eu customers

 

Originally, the said only one account per computer. Then they made a big announcement that they were going to allow 2 accounts per computer. However, the screwed up the implementation, and allowed unlimited accounts per computer. They quickly reverted back to one per, saying the tech guys were working on it. That was a month ago and they haven't even had the decency to update us on the status since then. Really, really bad customer service.

 

Thanks, I see.. Been away for a month or two, came back and the servers are completely dead only a couple of clans left playing. It's sad to see that they don't care much about the game anymore :/
Do u guys know if the Russian servers are able to dual-box or not? I've seen some guy on live stream alt-tabing on an Alt account.

And is it possible to play there with the game in english?

 

Did someone tried using virtual machine as a workaround? Not everyone has more than one computer.

Well, at this point players are not even to blame if they'll start using it...i mean, they promised the dualbox over 1 month ago and they didn't care to fix it. They managed to screw it w/o restarting server, and since then, nothing. And i mean, it's a simple dualbox eh, like every l2java or even other L2 version got, i don't understand how hard it is to turn on and off such a simple option.

 

On a guess I'd say the security software is set up for either 1 or unlimited and would have to be modified to allow 2 and only 2. Still, it shouldn't take a month. And the lack of communication with the customers on the status of the fix is unforgivable. Whoever is responsible for communicating with customers (if they even still have such a position) should be fired.

 

They already admit that we need more community managers, we are promised to get one more employee to care about EU Essence soon.

 

You know what's the most riddiculus about this whole thing? That the dualbox is working just fine in RU version of Essence. And yet it takes them over a month to make in work on EU...

 

As far as i know it never stopped working on RU. Problem is simply for EU servers. But since the RU servers are much more populated and people there tend to put more money in L2store , we are not just outside the priority list, we are not even worth trying.

Hence, you gotta simply continue and stop hoping on 2box

 

I'll believe it when I see that person regularly interacting with the customers on this forum. I'm not holding my breath.

 

Any1 there to give us some updates, to wait for a miracle this week for dual box?

I've asked here, politely. No reply. I've asked Yumi, politely, in a private message. No reply. Now I wonder if they can even be shamed into giving us an update. Perhaps they just don't know anything and don't want to admit it. Perhaps they just don't care about us. Someone here said that they were told it would be fixed some time in January. Well, January is 2/3 over and still no word. I guess we hope for something in the next 11 days.

@Warendo, that's not entirely true. It has own nuances on Russian servers, which should be fixed by the re-worked dual box system.
