Havent figure out what i wanna play yet and got a few questions about diffrent classes. I dont plan on mass donate to get gear and wanna ues the current adena i have made so far to put in 1 char but not sure what would be the most effeciv and most "fun". My current budget of gear is around 2b+ might be more depens on market ofc. Few classes i been thinkin of that i might wanna go all in on have been. Archer, Spellsinger, Spellhowler, Necro, Elf Summoner, and maybe even Soulhound (From what i heard they can steal buffs and become pretty strong becouse of that? Not sure on how it works etc) Anyway what would get me the "best" pick for my current budget? Hope to hear some info about each classes and how they preform with that budget since it isnt even close to Top gear.
Well, as SH and SPH i can tell u that, SH is very powerfull and with a mid gear u can do a mess when under transformation. Next update some songs and dances will not be able to steal, but anyway when i play pvp i go just with reflects and max hp buff stacks like dk ones, u can get more ofc, in the end u can land x4 damage in one hit with soul trust under dark form lv2 of sh. As a SPH i tell u that, its the last options of the mages , need the full p2w gear and is the last mage to be strong, indeed all mages need a good gear but sph here doesn't have empower echo and no fear, and the mp potions from Ru servers is not here yet to use arcana shield ad the skill was made to be used in its all performance. In this patch go for necro, is the most complete nuker , it have a lot of debuffs thats remember h5 patchs, and the pet doesn't have coldown to summon so, its perma transfer pain. Archers , well, ppl is w8 for the "rework" from koreans, but now they are like mages, need $$$ to hit some damage. The next patch is comming, so titans and gk will be the top tier, titan the most, gonna eat dk's as a breakfast cereal. Butttt, the books for new skills looks hard to obtain as a dk transformation, is that i see in korean servers, and the chance from the loot box is the same as dk ultimate transform(ofc they add th books on the loot boxes). If u are a mmorpg l2 old player , some essence mechanics gonna frustrate you like old l2 events that was made to balance non big spenders ingame here just give buffs or cookies, (some guys gonna one shot you without even login ingame, just using launcher visa options, and yes it make u gameplay and effort useles), also have a lot of sealed items that make u spent infinite lcoins can be made just for it, u cant buy from players, it maybe put you in a perma money or adena spent to make as example one +5 belt, +3 pendant etc...but if u have a rich clan or some rich friend to schoolbag you its gg , if u dont care to play a mobile game for pc that have thousand of cassino mechanics, go ahead, u need pay to exp, pay to not loose exp, pay to keep in pvp , pay to win a boss pvp, etc etc etc its a wallet massacration, so, go slow!
Thanks for info, guess i'll remove SPH from the list then haha, about Titan and Tyrent "rework" they seem nice but then again with the skillbooks thats gonna be a pain in the *** to get. And what about "Archer" rework? is there more info about this? That does sounds nice if thats the case! And for SH do i need tons of alt boxes at lv80 to steal buff from? And how long does they last etc etc Sounds like necro could be it tho for the balance all around it. And for Archer, is kamael archer an decent pick here? I just see kamael archer farming adena but not so many for "end game"?
Hi there Xithul You have to understand one thing L2 essence = the more you purchase [you aren't donating but buying goods to entertain yourself] the better you can grief the others With your current budget you can't even buy a single baium ring lvl 1 and on red server almost anything Don't even think to compete for pvp or pve raid boss wise because you are going to be stomped and on red perma pked for the rest of your life. If you want just to enjoy the game go necro and don't spend too much because, anyway, you won't be able to catch up with the wales [top spenders]. Keep in mind what i7 wrote about the casino mode The only way you can gear up it's to buy the 600.000 boxes one per day In one year you can get decent stuff, but if you try to oe amulets or belts earlier you will be casino-stomped. TLDR wait to have 300-365ish boxes.
Hello, i'm a new player, didn't want to make a seperate post since this one seems to have a very similar nature. So i created a hawkeye , got him to lvl 52 ( which is nothing i assume ). Talked with a lot of folks, told me that hawkeyes are not that good even if maxed out. Decided to try monatising the hawkeye for adena farm. So my first question is whether hawk is good for adena farming ? Then i am looking for a new main, i got time but don't plan on investing into my character $ , at least not in hundreds... some fellas told me that if i want to be in wars i gotta go tank or healer since i'm behind on everything ? do you think they are right? if i go for meele dds am i doomed to not join wars? What are your opinion on wars, are they even worthy if they are as pay2win as they say? Really just looking for some opinions on this take what about warlords? noone even mentioned them as far as i researched, lol playing on blue though
All the dds archers dagger you name it are good at lvl 85 + only if you put 20+ k euro Don't trust anyone. On week #1 some russian dudes spent more than 10k € to be the top and then quitted. The tank would be a good idea the problem is there are plenty of tanks out there If I would be you i'll go healer. I bet you play on blue otherwise you would have bought an account like every other on red server I don't understand why innova never did anything because, if I do remember well, purchasing accounts on external sites it's an eula infringment.
@Lucien im pretty sure most classes are good at that level with that kinda of money. But this was more of asking what classes would be the best choice of the current budget that was said before and what would be most "fun" and rewarding. As healer seem it could be a choice but i never been a healer player before. When it come to tanks, do u have more info about that? From what i understand tank isnt in a good spot for damage dealing or are they? I wouln't mind going Tank always been a cool looking class with 1h weapon + shield I do play on Blue so i have no idea whats going on Red. @TonyHawks I do agree with Warlords, i also havent seen a single one i think lol
I've suggested the healer because they are really higly requested Keep in mind that if you don't want to "donate" your soul you will have to join a cp or constant party to do raids get drops and gear up one piece at a time As I was saying because there are already tons of tanks on both servers, mainly on blue, it's very unlikely you will be able to find a spot in a cp That beeing said it depends on the cp leaders Someone want a pally, someone wants an eva templar all seem to avoid da and sk but if you are a da or sk they will pm you on pvp time or siege time. Guess what. I've told you to go healer because it's the safest option Someone of you guys asked the best farming toon kamael archer since day 1 on red a russian guy went 1-80 in 6 days with the +16 no grade bow and kama archer
@Lucien Healer have almost always been requested, and i guess u are right about "safe option" Kamael archer is good for farming but what about PvP and so on? How is it compare to other archers? I thought DA and SK were Top tier in terms of Tanks but guess i was wrong there.
Well you have to understand one thing On l2 essence every class after lvl 60-64 has to face the mana issue problem TLDR you will run out of mana in 2 minutes and you will have to stop exping The only class able to regenerate mana for free it's the kamael archer therefore even with the free basic gear you can farm non stop 1-80 then reroll another kama archer About da and sk you are right but both are offensive tanks everyone will take you in the clan and ask for help in mass pvps or sieges no one will want you in a cp paladin and eva are defensive and give some bonuses to the party members
@Lucien Ahh yes the mana problems, so kamael archer have the possibity to get mana back. But how are they in PvP compare to other archer (ignore the mana problem for lvling) And hows the damage wise with DA / SK as Tank melee ?
There's a misunderstanding Let aside healer and tanks all the other classes are dds or if you prefer you will have to invest more than 10k euros on this hobby the kama has the advantage of the mana regain for free all the other archers will need an orphen lvl 3 or if you prefer 500 to 850 euros For the tanks on l2 essence every class can fight by itself with self buffs ofc a da or sk does more dmg than a pally or an eva but their role it's to absorb damage and compensate with an higher amber 5 or more so lets say top end game content max 1.5 - 2 k euro nothing compared to 10-15 or 20k euros you can't compare the dmg a tank does even if stacked to the dmg of a dd
@Lucien Fair enough, well from all the info it might seems Necro is a good choice, however still looking for more info about this Soulhound class for buff stealing on how it works and how long it last etc etc. Edit: Necro or Elf summoner since they also seems very balance with lower budget gear
The koreas want to rework all classes, so they are doing per steps, to ofc let the classes get some "time of fame"and farm some players with loot box new skills books, next will be the orcs, so robe users gona cry for a time , prolly archers gonna get buff, in the last week they got some update in real target but they still weak cuz of nerf in the range six month ago, maybe near future they got range back, atm is not good without range+ dak/tank pulling mechanics. SH u need some toons like khavatary 60 lvl, bd and songer about 70 or less, some Dk 65 and pp 76 for cc, and some tank or mage sps or sorcer 55 for reflect, and what u imagination takes you. I just use gk+reflect from hell knight +reflect from sws and some that gimme hp. I dont like to spent 10 min stealing buffs , anyway, without stolen buffs and with a decent gear and level u beat anyone on u range(not the p2w abusers) with dark form , and u can stack for 2 min. About trikster ,as ppl already said, with a toons of money and fast gameplay u can also beat a lot of classes when under dark transformation, Denvs from red i remmeber when he killed top 1 on macro , transformed is a beast. But there is a thousand of money on that pixel xD. U just need to play without war till get 83 84, i see ppl without war tag till 86, and farming adena with the second boxes, anyway itens like pendant or authority came by season to make u spent a lot till u make high levels cuz of fckin seal on items here, só, if u not pew pew u credit card, the game gonna be pve forever with a toon of pk's without penal.
@__i7__ I see thats cool they wanna rework all classes. 10min for stealing buffs seems very annoying and havein to be in Shadowform to performe good damage. Well even tho Sph looks cool but seems to be needin more gear then other caster, might lead to Necro or Elf Summoner to be my choice since they seem some what balance all around. Not sure on who would be a stronger pick for my budget tho.
@xThug Pain of Sagittarius is the rechage mana right? Well it dosnt seems like people are happy with current stage of Archer and when ask they just says "Pick mage/summoner insted" lol
Yes, with HE you can basically farm with full mana. Doesn't change the fact archers are still trash in comparison to Mages or anything else with similar spend tbh.
@xThug Yeah been told the same in game aswell lol. Well i might go Elf Summoner (elemental) or Necro/Spellhowler tho Soulhound seem cool with buff stealin but seem it take u like 10min to steal buff and that kinda is off pullin tho
This is completely incorrect. Pain of sagittarius is for the HE the same as body to mind for a feoh This does mean 1 you will never be full mana 2 you will need a tooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnn of hp pots The kama archer, on the other side, never goes down on hps anddddddddddddddddddddd even with 0 mana in 3 hits it replenishes completely the pool. if you want i can post a comparison of two clanmates of mine the 1st a kama archer now lvl 84 because he simply exps non stop, when not pked the 2nd an He lvl 81, simply because he needs more time to exp That beeing said the archers are dds so they will need all the epics lvl 3 + the baium talisman to reach top end game content and only the talisman it's 20 l 8000 packs. Do the math. A tank as suggested will need, if mad, only a baium doll lvl 2 or if you prefer 5 to 10 l 8000 packs.
