I believe that the new Hostile Clan system was a terrible change. It ended the fun and essence of the game. Most of the lineage II players are old, since the first chronicles and remain faithful to the game after all these years thanks to the pvp mechanics. The Clan war system was fun and kept players online on the computer. This new Hostile clan system, will leave the server full of players in auto hunt mode, unconcerned because if they are killed, the killer will be penalized and with twice the time to take out the karma and will not earn any pvp rank points.
They announced Essence as PvP version of game, this makes it literaly farm simulator...Worst update of clan war system I can even imagine. Shame on developers.
There is a part in the patch notes that says it’s just a beginning, that the system will be improved in the future, I think this is so only momentarily
I don't understand what you have played since 2004. Maybe you were having fun on pking every other player on private servers but on official ones, you name it, you would have dropped all of your p2w gear, in the best scenario, in november 2019, so you would have quitted since 1 year. To me you don't want to get the difference between pk and pvp. Are you stupid, a psychopath or what? By now you had fun, for over 10 months, destroying someone else time and money and last, but not least, ncsoft, ncwest, ncjapan, innova monthly revenue. L2 has always represented the difference between war (pvp) and omicide (pk). Do you want to kill someone without any consequence?
Nah, slow karma reducing is okay, problem is that now even if you kill enemy clan, you get karma...thats a problem here.

This kinda show your low knowledge of L2 and how it works. The problem here is the new war system which is...no war system. Basically now pvp between war clans is deleted. You can no longer go and hunt ur own war cause if they don't flag you will be penalized with karma. Karma dropping slower is totally fine, if you're killing randoms. Karming when you're killing ur own war is totally nosense and bs. This game was advertised as PVP game, but devs are fuking up everything heavly. Some classes are close to being totally worthless, unbalanced and nerfed for no reasons (look at the daggers, being 2 useless classes like WR and Adv and 1 HALF-worthy which is the GH. That is still underpowered cause we lost 3/4 of our features) and some are just insane op (DKs, all supports but the EE, Elemental summoners). Not to mention all the modifications they are fuking OP on KR now: Olympiads still a braindead nosense 3v3 system with that fuking RNG buff that is going to be lv 1-5 instead of 1-4 and instead of lasting 1h olys will last 30 mins. ********. The live server oly system is way better with the BO3 with all classes having the same buffs. The classes on live version are WAY more balanced. The only problem on awakening version is the uber-p2w system they have that will be the same here, you can already see the abyss between a f2p and a p2w abuser.
xHaseo lets put it simple the OP wrote this Lets be honest both on blue and red server, but mainly on red server, the ones who now you see in the top 15 spent their whole day, and i don't get how they can afford to play a p2w game if they are 24/24 (hours) in front of a monitor, pking everyone in sight. Edid: example on red server united never had the money not even to log in and was kicked in the azz by tribunal who were only moderate donators. What united decided to do? To pk everyone else, since day #1. That's the difference .. you start to pk only when you can't pvp. Then innova has to do an event to repopulate the red server. Do you know what this means? Innova is selling mainly xp boosts and their main target are the players who want to start the game and have to buy everything. As soon as a newbie gets killed 20 times in 1 single hour he won't buy anymore Innova won't sell anything anymore The server dies. Make a toon lvl 1 log in on red server to see, even after the repopulation, ppl selling avadon stuff as top end game content. Avadon .... Basically this is the 1st step to avoid all the l2 essence servers, all around the world, to be shutted down in a matter of 24 hours. Now if you want to blame someone blame the ones who never had the money to play a p2w game but nonetheless pked, since week #1, all the ones who had it and wanted to play. So once more, I am not talking about karma, I am talking about gaining karma for killing enemy war tag. I kinda agree with slower de-karma for killing pve shiets farming, its fine, but you should not receive karma if you kill enemy war tag. And btw, since october 2019 to august 2020 I had 3 months off, also in most of those "active" months I was killing mostly enemy members, I have less then 5k PK points, in+- 7 months I am here, so if you know counting, I made like 15-20 PK points a day at all. If we are PKing a single player 20 times in hour, it would mean I was killing only one char only 1 hour a day...you just talk nonsence dude

We could talk abouth ruthless clan, specifically created by united to pk every nub from lvl 40 to 70 and make them quit, gg innova, to farm the epics undisturbed. Personally speaking there's no point in trying to save the red server it's done once and for all Innova has been warned of what was happening in there for too many times ending up in doing anything. Better to close it and start a fresh new server. Less than 300 effective players How much it will take to innova to realize the effort isn't worth it anymore? @Warendo on a live server if you have more than 10 pks on your count you would have dropped everything. Well, for ppl that really likes l2 , i say, this game design went on his limit, where devs are looking for ways to milk the money from players for all edges of the game. There is no update to improve the game experience, just to make the gameplay worst than before for the players and make them slaves on the game, working to obtain the rewards that game have, but the game never gives, cuz the bosses looks nerfed, the free store have belts and others for 1kk now, pi stones just for lcoin, p2w items like hat u need luck to get from box, luck to enchant , so its a new style to broken u on game and milk all of u resources and ofc not a little money from u, but all of u money cuz this prices design are insane , u pay 20 eu to a l8000 and none hat inside. So they project u luck to pay an rtx 2080 or an ps4 pro console or 4 triple A game on each 15 days to get some (or maybe nothing) basic item to be any ingame. Today we fight for a priest tha we spent lcoins to earn battle and get zubei as rewards, GUYS, its near insanity , no l2. Now in korea the pk will around 30k karma and ppl can drop, thats why they put this worst clan war system of all mmo that i see. Projected not to get those that pk u to stop u gameplay till u left, is made for Developers farm all ppl that want to pvp in a "pvp" server and will lost items middle of mass pvp cuz the tagged war guy dont flag using it as exploit to try obtain items. There is no more L2 guys, essence just turned in another thing like a mobile game with cassino mechanics or loot boxes to drain money. Keep your eyes open, and do not be scammed bcs of this fail updates made to the Devs and not to the players. As i see in some pm's... ....The clock is ticking and each update they wipe more players from they game.
