I thought the game is P2W in Essence after the update,so i played starting at the same day of the Essence update to Lineage 2 Core server. I spend 50 euros in items for nothing,i am not strong enough,everyone runs dragon weapons that costs 150 billions and such. So after read the Essence forum again,i will give a chance to Essence again (and test Sylphs!!!) I read that Lineage 2 Essence after the update and in the new servers are not that P2W as Core is that true???? Also i started in server Pink,for an EU player,is better Pink or Rose??? Because i thought to start to Rose,in 4:30 AM spanish hour the population says at "Normal" level,while Pink "Light" So i started in Pink,maybe during the day,the Pink server goes "Normal". Can you please say me if i must pay much in the new servers of Essence??? Also the buffs,need spellbooks to learn??? Or this has changed??? I hope someone can resolve me those questions. Tyvm.
I started after install the game in Pink server,choosed the gift to my new Sylph,but the store has been changed a bit,now there is not a coupon for take B grade equipment for 10 euros The only thing the same is the 8000 L coins and such. And the low SP points at lvl 40,it says i am out of SP for learn all the skills. They must fix that Btw the buffs are learned without using spellbooks,i am fine with that. Now the question is: i made a good choice to start in Pink server??? I mean,in EU is 5:45 now and the traffic population is "Light" Do you think that during the day the population traffic will be "Normal"????
The game is p2w if you want to be competitive. There is a starter kit for 4000 L-Coins in event section of ingame store, gives +7 B grade weapon and +4 C grade set. Buffs do not need spellbooks to learn but adena drop is 60% amount compared to previous chronicles, you have to be online during happy hour (07-08 CET), when you get double adena buff from GM in Aden square. I think Rose is much more populated, but probably by Russians, I have seen a streamer asking viewers to vote which EU to start and they chose Rose by far, so I assume lot of Russian players on it. You will be able to learn all skills after level 60.
Sorry but: This. They say pay 2 win is not as Core server. I decided to start with another account to Rose server for the gift. Same nickname. Btw thanks for all the info,resolved my doubts.
Can i ask where is the kit in the store who gives you B grade stuff?? And how much cost??? Because i checked the content of the kits and only 1 gives a reward of 60 chest,is that the reward who gives B grade stuff?? Tyvm again.
For the mother of God,anyone can answer please??? I have no idea what type of berserker scrolls i can use for get B grade stuff. The ones of 1 NCoin or the 500000 adenas ones??? Edit: Sorry,i see now that the starter kit cost 4000 NCoins,i thought that the event needs berserker scrolls in order to get equipment.
Please read carefully what i wrote Essence isn't like live servers, core for innova chronos or naia for ncwest, due to the simple fact they don't introduce, the koreans, new game breaking items every 2-4 months. That's it. On live servers you have to continuosly punch in credit card numbers only to be cannon fodder. On essence you may have some real fun, if you completely forget since the very beginning to be a pvp top dog, with 100-150 € x month. P.s. core are little kids playing with barbie compared to what some nerds spent, are spending and will spend in na.

You say that in Essence i can have some real fun. Btw i spend euros on the starter kit,just for be competitive. The basic equipment of D grade is not for higher levels hunt.
Also i am very happy that they add male Sylph (Ertheias on live servers) Is the first time i can choose little humanoids that they are not the ugly male dwarfs. I usually play male characters because i am a male in real life. Just logical thinking

On live servers, eg. core for innova or naia/chronos for ncwest, no matter how much money do you spend x month, in 2-3 months ncsoft korea will come up with some other new game breaking items. So basically you are wasting your money for pixels that will be **** in 2-3 months. In essence you have to invest, at least, 100-150 € EVERY SINGLE MONTH NOT JUST ONCE, to have some real fun, pve and pvp wise. Look at warendo, he's poor af, no offence Warendo, but still he's doing pvp since week #1 TLDR - live servers you may spend 100.000 € x month, but your gear will be **** in 2-3 months and you will have to re-purchase everything from scratch - essence you need to invest 100-150 € every single month x 12 months x year. If someone doesn't have this kind of patience, better to unistall l2 essence asap
