i started playing years ago on xxxx then moved to xxxx (spent there lot of hours) and recently i had a break for about 2-3 years i guess. had tried other games like league of legends but l2 is the best :d yeah lineage forever!
lineage has changed so much i hardly recognize the continents, weapons even the exp got form quests was a suprise. i am getting used to all new things. hopefully will stay here some time peace

 

hello all the new ppl!

here's a few recommendations what to do for those that are new to l2 (or this chronicle):

1. get mentee certificate from your warehouse and find a mentor. mentoring is for players 1-86. you can pm me ("estemy) or just should !lf mentor in any town and loads of ppl will help you. mentoring gives new players 200% exp and permanent free buffs.

2. join the academy of your mentor (or any good clan). academy is for players lvl 1-75. you get loads of passive buffs (the more buffs, the better the clan) that make you stronger and at level 40-50 and 70-74 you can do clan quests. the level 40 quest will give you a tiara that will make you lose less exp if you die and the level 70 quest will give you a ring with better m.def than s-grade (the ring is a-grade). again, if you dont know who to ask for a good academy "estemy or shout in giran/aden/goddard for academy.

3. follow the quest line. from level 1-~20 the quest line is in talking island, but after that many people lose the track of where to get the best exp quests. the fastest way to level 40 is with quests, not with grinding. in fact, with certain quests you can do 1-40 in only 2hours, instead of 2 days of grinding.

4. where to exp if there are no quests? after 40 you should go to cruma tower (port from dion), it has by far the best exp and 2 levels of exp grounds. when some mobs there are blue, go to tower of insolence (port from aden). toi has 12 levels of mobs, which should be awsome until very high levels. watch out for the player killers in toi, though (best time to lvl there is at night or early mornings). at around 65 you also get 2 daily quests (some already before that level, but they arent as good as toi exp) from adeventurers guide in every major tow. those are also worth doing. with grinding and those quests you can easily reach 75-80. after 80 the daily only gives 5%, so go grind dragon valley (if you are mage class) or swamp (dd) to conquer lvl 85!

5. dont forget to check your warehouse for leveling up gifts from revolutionary road, at certain levels you get shots/armor/buff items and even exp items!
