Installation problems

while using the 4game installer i get stuck where it asks me to click install for ms visual c++ 2008/2010, nothing happens at all, it starts 4 processes and then they die after a few seconds again... anyone else had this issue?

 

i was about to make a post my self. it seems to be stuck for me as well!

okay i figured it out, go uninstall your 2010 version of ms visual c++ package x86 one. then while you have the installer up click install wait 10 sec or so and download this: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=5555
run it and when it asks you if you want to remove or repair click repair, the installation for 4game will now have next button enabled. enjoy. : )

solution:delte your c++ packes and try .exe again

no need of that

when it ask you for that ms
go to folder of 4game
cut it paste it somewhere else
press cancel
paste it again in the folder
win win

 

will you guys planing to fix this error anytime soon ? i don't want to uninstall all my ms visual c++ :< .

you have to do it. you will just install brand new better one :d

 

how a 2008 distro is better than the 2010..
not to mention that you need to reinstall ati drivers because of that

 

i wait a fix from them .

 

same for me... i uninstaled both ms visual ++ 2010 x86 and 64 bit, after click repair says it's repaired, but 4game launcher still want to instal it and nothing going on

 

yes the one from 2008 has more tools man. ))_

 

easy solution, go to control panel, uninstall a program, now uninstall everything that says microsoft visual, uninstall the ncsoft lineage and launcher. now you can install the program normally, even the visual c++ by the launcher ! hf
