Items brought on AH from hacked accounts

remember about dronja who got crash while enchanting bow for 3 to +4 with bewr and lost his bow. he didnt got it back :d

 

how can u lose items anyway, they dont drop from ur inventory just like that..
1- acc sharing/items sharing with 'friends' - u voluntarily/deliberately provided ur items to someone else and u got scammed - u dont deserve item recovery
2- u put ur log in data on 'free innova core adena/items web site-email w/e' - u deserve nothing but a ***** label
3-u downloaded 'innova adena farming software / cpclicker/w/e pos software' with keylogger - u dont deserve item recovery
4-u tried to sell ur stuff/acc for euro but u were stupid enough to hand over ur stuff before getting payed - got scammed - u deserve nothing but a ***** label
5- some kind of bug - u deserve full item restoration unless u deliberately abused the bug ( innova staff would have to investigate somehow )
i know this thread is about buying scammed items, i am just curious how people manage to lose their stuff :d

lmao this is the case when gm's should just back the fck up and let people deal with the situation on their own.
none gets scammed just like that ,only time i got scammed was when i gave acc to some1 else it was first and last time.if you are as stupid as me than you deserve to be scammed and gm's should give zero fcks about that situation.

involving 4th person is just unnecessary and unprofessional in this case.

 

dont forget this topic is about ppl who lost something from inv (taken for gm's) not been hacked but loose smt that was originally obtained through hacked accounts.

//about first topic gms give me another 550mil so its almost all for the items but im still waiting for crystals coz they give me some kind of quest items (earth crystal,fire crystal and holy crystal with eliminates vulnerability to holy attacks..) come on guys u have made mistake with those items and i have posted ticket and still waiting for reply.

 

i really believe that gms made a mistake about taking items that you bought from ah. you didnt know that these items were from hucked accout, how you should know that?
maybe gms beleive that someone hucked an item with one char then put it at ah low price and the same person bought it with different char but since they cant make any connections to those charackters they just took all the items to avoid same situtation at future.

 

i know, with my post i meant to say that people who bought scammed items should get either full compensation what they paid for it and the item should be deleted from the server or no actions at all towards the person who bought the item. also, my post kinda explains how people manage to lose their items - > it is only ur own fault if u lose stuff unless some really unexpected bug appears ( for example blessed enchant will crystalize ur equip instead of reseting enchant to 0, somekind of ingame mail bug... ), therefore ppl who lost stuff/got scammed should get 0 compensation/attention from the staff and people shouldnt be punished for just buying items from legit npc feature ( auction hall manager )

 

in real life if you purchase an item which is stolen you have to return it as well and you can sue the seller for it. since here the auction house (product of the game owners) is used and no intentions from the buyers... the full amount should be returned to the buyer. unless there is a policy that says innova does not refund adenas from stolen items bought through ah.

 

yes u r right, but it is easier to break a window and steal money/jewelry/w/e in real life than guessing email adress and password of a player - point of that sentence is, i will repeat myself, that it is only the scammed player fault( i mentioned them on this page few posts above ) that he lost stuff and innova staff should give 0 fcks about stolen/lost items unless game bug is involved, therefore players who buy scammed items from ah shouldnt lose their items since they buy it legit way. it sounds really bad, but honestly, if u r stupid enough and manage to get scammed, then u r punished for ur stupidity, why should other players suffer cause u r stupid ?

 

you can also get reinforced glass in your house, just like you can get a strong password. unfortunately these things don't always happen. so whoever doesn't have reinforced glass in their house also should be punished for stupidity?

 

u r either naive or stupid/someone who got scammed if u cant see the fact that hacking a random account is impossible, 1st of all u dont even know the email the person u want to hack use to log in, then u would have to randomly type his password to get logged on the web with his acc and then again u would have to randomly type his password to run the game with his char.. nowadays computers need several years to break 6 or 8 symbol passwords, even if used simple password - penys, who would try that tell me... if u got scammed, it is only ur damn fault, prove me wrong somehow, in my long l2 history i lost my stuff only once, on rpg-club few years ago, but only because i shared my acc with a cp mate who downloaded cp clicker with key loger - i was stupid, period.

 

i never got anything scammed from me because i'm able to remember random passwords which do take way too long to crack with a brute-force attack. however not everybody is able to do this and use easier stuff which they probably use on every website as well. i've seen it happening on a few private servers that the owners of old servers use their database info to log into peoples accounts on other servers and steal their items. is that the users fault? no.

you said it was easier to break a window and steal someones real life items... but it's the same here. in real life there are also many ways to prevent someone from breaking into your home. are you then stupid if you did not take any counter-measurements against this? in my opinion you're just as much of a victim, as long as you don't just leave your doors/windows open...

you are completely wrong in this case.

i can give you 2 cases where people bought stuff way cheaper than it should and it was due seller's mistake. i will even give names, dafernandes player of ooc bought a blessed freya necklace for 60kk, when the market price was at least 800kk-1b. and i know people that accidentally placed the price of really expensive items way cheaper then it should and other person just bought it almost for free.
it is your job as gm's to follow that people that are not following the rules, and punish them. but not the people that try to get a good opportunity in the market legit.
funny thing is to see one of those guys that caused one of these cases of items being removed from players account by buying it in ah or to another person, and is so hypocrite to say thanks to this post.

 

the major problem is the timing, if you start rolling back items after 6 month of course there are gonna be problems. but if someone gets scammed and the guy puts the items at low price to sell them fast, i don't think you deserve any compensation because you bought a bargain.

another problems comes with enchants, what if i buy an item and get it +6 it's not really right that if the item was scammed you lose the +6 item.

luckily many of these problems should be fixed though to the new account sharing roles made to accommodate troy and alarion.

guys for sure u can get back almost all what u spend on item but it will take time and your nerves...

 

the other and i think more important thing is how u can play the game if u dunno even when your items gonna be taken away. hundreds ppl on server looking for good deal on ah, ah that is game feture and seems we cant trust in that feture anymore. moreover we upgrading items putting attributes or changing them, trying to oe equipment spending sometimes lots more adena that u giving back. so my question is as follow how i can be sure that i get leggit item before i invest more money, time and nerves to do smt whit it? shoul i ask everytime that i buy some armor or weapon to check it by gms? i dont think its possible. u dont even thinking abt the troubles u causing to ppl, if for example i buy an armor piece i sell old one and u taking 1 part saying that you sorry after few months prices are diffriend and its hard to replace some things... u just f.up innocent ppl for the game feture that is provided to us by game makers . . . .

 

problem is not auction house at all, you'll have same problem /trading another guy, or buying from a private store.

 

i want to buy smth from ah can those gms tell me if that item was scammed or not ? because i dont want to lose it after 3 months
its ****ing awesome to buy +6 eternal items for 600kk and make pvp on them because after 3 months those funny gms will scam you and put 600kk on account lol
