NCSOFT will open a classic server

i get that we post in a god forum and everyone is getting butthurt.
soon they will provide an answear,possitive or negative and all those people will stop posting here.

whole process takes a long time, even if they have decided it's viable it's then a slog to agree license terms for things like price, length, renewal, negotiate the level of support they will receive for bugs and content control, publishers make deals way in advance of release because of such things, then ofc there are things like possibly needing new hardware, extra staffing etc.

until they say they aren't going to release it then it's as good as 50/50 chance as far as player base are concerned, and given that they are silent and aren't locking threads it suggests they are either still gathering information on viability or negotiating with ncsoft over the license.

aside, you can't blame people for wanting info, can't blame them for wanting l2c, god knows i do, you can read the thread title, with minimal common sense you can guess it's content - don't open it if you don't want to read the spamming.

 

what? innova already is a publisher of l2. they made l2classic ru! they have all the licenses required. what are you talking about friend.

yeah, and i'd bet the l2c ru license officially only allows them to serve russia, otherwise it would be l2c global/eu already.

 

yes i stated that several months back that this license is for ukraine lithuania belarus , russia , and other non european countries speaking russian. there are two licenses this one which i explained and european and ofcourse , us is having another one license but this is out of topic

 

can u explain me how lithuania is non europian country , when it is part of european union ? :d
p.s and if i understood u right u mean countrys that speak only russian? cause as i remember in lithuania u speak national lang and it is not russian

if i good remember lithuania,estonia,latvia and belarus was part of soviet union isn't it? and like 10 years ago lithuania became part of european union.

 

i guess gran kain does. it seems the majority of all english speaking clans and parties have settled in that particular server according to the rochand boards.

 

i keep visiting this forum just because l2c, and to all the "if you really want to play classic then you would be playing russian", after seeing how it worked with archeage russian server (they banned all non-russian people), no thanks, i don't want to spend time and money to end banned just because i'm not russian.

 

it was soviet union in past ,but atm is europian union so .. :d i'm europian not russian so please :d

gosh ppl, license is for cis countries, that means for countries that were once part of soviet union.
