Low download speed.

Hello guys.

I started to download Lineage 2 Europe but the download speed is ultra slow - 55kbs.

I download normaly at Steam with 1.8mb/s.

What can be the issue?

Still with 55-70 kbs downloading at this application(if am I using this correctly.)

CHECK4GAME.EXE FOR LINEAGE II – INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Save the utility in the folder with the Lineage 2 client (in the root folder, not in the client’s “system” folder).
2. Once launched, the utility deletes the "SysTextures\Crest.utx", "updater.cache.data", "Frost\updater.cache.data", "system\L2CompiledShader.bin" files automatically.
3. Once launched, the utility starts searching for the virus that prevented l2.exe from launching.
4. After you launch the utility, click the “Check files.cinn” button to check the client.
5. If any invalid files are found, the utility will offer you to delete them when the check is completed. Click “YES!”
6. Launch the check for Trash by clicking the “Search Trash” button. If trash is found, the utility will offer you to delete it. Click “YES!”
7. The “Network Diagnostic” button starts network diagnostics.
8. The “Process Diagnostic” button displays information about active processes in the system.
9. The “Frost” button checks the possibility of downloading modules of the security system.
10. Fix 'The game is not available in LIVE environment' error vi '4game-service' function.
11. "Brightness" feature, fixes Lineage2 game bug at fullscreen/windowed mode, auto restore default desktop brightness. You can set the brightness of the game in fullscreen.

 

I did everything in this tutorial, but the download still downloading at 55 kbs, started with 300kbs but at now is 55kbs again. =(

 

Its not global issue, we cannot help You with that.
This have something to do with Your ISP and routing to our servers.

 

I have the same problem 9kbs per second I tryed download ncsoft NA and download speed is 985kbs so isn't my connection =\

anyway im from Brazil and this guy that create this topic too, maybe a problem only for brazilians.

 

i think there will be more ppl with slow download game then with normal speed. For example at home i am downloading slow on VDSL but in work on optic w/o problem.

 

The problem not is from the Game, but with Brazil's conection.
I'm Brazilian too, and our conections not is the best of the world, and the distance to acess the servitors of the game is very far.
In the percurse we lost very part of ow speed.

If you find how ti fix that problem, please share with us.

 

Well to fix part of problem what I do.

1. Do full download NCSOFT SERVER NA - there my download speed is 985 kbs per second.
2. Copy all folders from Ncsoft/Lineage2 and paste in C://games/LineageII EU
3. Open 4games site and click to update, your game will be 93% updated so you will just download 7% of game in low speed ^^

I know that it isn't correct but this is the "Jeitinho Brasileiro" .

Hi I'm also with the same problems I download 5kb my net is 16 megs speed should be problems with Brazil even.

 

It is not a problem with your connection.
They are limiting the download to south america for unknown reasons.

I was downloading at 30kb/s (on an optical fiber 100mb connection). I started a VPN with an european IP and the download instantly increased to 1mb/s. I closed the VPN and got back to 30kb/s.
