    I would like to know if i could load and play the game normally, without any complications from Frost, BEFORE i buy an external SSD.

    you wont get issues with frost, but external ssd/hdd will lag, due to limitations of USB 3.0 using ssd external is a waste. i'd recommend you to switch ur hdd for ssd and use hdd external.
