Whenever I enter a narrow area like Queen Ant nest the camera naturally zooms in, but when I go out it doesn't zoom out no matter how much mouse rolling I do, or alt+L I press. The only way the camera zooms out is when I restart.
I never had that so this may very well be a useless sugestion.. but Have you tried using Page Up/Down keys to see if it unlocks the zoom?
