Try using left alt + shift and few times and trying to type in chat. Its possible during the intense battles of lineage that you alt shifted and changed your keyboard language from english to your local one which might be unsupported by the lineage client.
I understand what you are saying. When I am on my native language I can't type at all. When I change in English I can type then I press "Enter" but my message doesn't appears anywhere in the screen or the chat...
i am not sure but i think there is a min lvl in which you can write to chat in order to avoid spamming from adena sellers... World chat (& bla bla bla) is above 85 lvl.. alternative try switch in window mode (Alt + Enter)... regards
