[Event] Ignite the magic Christmas flame

Two little sisters
Set forth to the city
To sell their matches
On New Year’s Eve.

They walk through the forests
And face dreadful monsters
Which steal their matches
We have to retrieve.

Girls stand in the city
And beg the brave fighters
To kill all the monsters
And make girls festive.

That make you much stronger
So go hunt those creatures
And salvage the eve.

1. How and where do I get Match Sticks and Match Heads?
Hunt monsters in the world of Lineage II and get parts of Well-made Matchsticks as additional loot. Remember, that you won’t get any event items if your character’s level is higher than monster’s level by 9 or more (dark blue) or if you're below Lv. 85.



2. Ok, I collected, what's next?

You can compound them into Well-made Matchstick or Powerful Matchstick via the compound menu (1 by 1):



Or if you want to exchange in bulk of 50, find NPC Older Sister in any town and exchange collecter parts for Well-made Matchsticks:

3. What can I do with Well-made Matchsticks?
You can exchange them for various things:

Older Sister will exchange:

Required items	Result
x20 Well-made Matchsticks	Blessing from helping the Match Girls. For 2 hr., acquired XP/SP +150% and XP/SP from fishing +50%. Cannot be stacked with XP Buff 50%, Fall of the Dragon and Dandy's Home Run Ball. Remains when moving to the Olympiad. Deleted when changing main/dual/subclasses.
x15 Well-made Matchsticks + 500 000 adena	x1 Cooking Ingredient

Younger Sister will exchange:

4. How to prepare Cooking Ingredient at Bonfire?

Step 1: Create bonfire by double-clicking on it. Bonfire lasts only for 30 seconds and only the owner can use it!
If you use it on a bonfire made by someone else, the ingredient will disappear, and you will get nothing.
The owner of the Bonfire is displayed in Bonfire's title.



Step 2: Use Cooking Ingredient on the Bonfire and see what you'll get: regular Dish or Very Delicious Dish.



You can use several Cooking Ingredients on 1 Bonfire.

1. Raid Bosses and their minions don't drop event items.
2. Dimensional Gap/Rift don't drop event items.
3. Compound rate via inventory is 100%.
4. A chance to get Matchsticks and Match Heads from monsters increases x2 every day from 18:00 till 00:00 server time. L2Store runes don't affect the drop of event items.
5. Hunting Zones for characters Lv. 85- don't drop event items.
6. Match Girls' Blessing isn't limited, you can take it as many times per day as you want.
7. Match Girls' Blessing stacks with Embryo and other special Baits.

Compare to l2store event. Nothing worth to go and farm this =/

 

Is it Me or isnt there a SINGLE item worth anything or to help improve the Non Donating Folks gearwise?
All the Goodies only in the €€€€ Store , u might aswell shut down that "free" event, cuz theres a difference between free and for nothing, this Event is obviously not free but for nothing .
Not worth to waste time on it

This event is designed to help you get some more EXP. Not to make you rich... Unlike L2 Store.

Anyway, at least we get some free stuff here and there, be happy

As it comes to an end, let me know what you think about it - was it any good for you?

 

the good thing in this event was... the drop rate for event items. i mean, for real. no some stupid 50mob / 1 item and every 30sec 1 item for whole server or some stupid things like that. no matter you aoe or not, you got event items (or maybe i was so damn lucky, but i doubt)... EVERY event should have like with this droprate. Ok, the same droprate would be too high a bit, but something similar, and not the one before.
with something similar droprate i guess every other event would be more fun, no matter the reward are gemstone r like usually

 

It was a nice event, we need more of those. As previously stated, for the first time drop rate of event items was as it should be (sadly you would do that only for events with no item rewards). These appearance rewards are useless tho, 14 day santa outfit? Delete on sight.

 

Pointless event comparing to l2store event. It shows only that this game more and more p2w. And even 2xp week would be better than this event.

Also waiting ban again for truth
