Is it true that Lineage is dead, not wort to play, etc.?

yes. current ncwest got l2 in 2004 april/may. 4. maybe 5 years later innova bought license for RU region. and on 2011 december opened core and "kicked" best server teon out of EU zone what caused increased ping from 30 to 130+ and other bad things what happened for l2, 1st in west versions, later in EU too.

Yesterday 959 ppl in pt matching its biggest number since 1,5 y and we dont have any farm event or x2 xp also many afk farm or disbanded bcs no worth to farm in rafinery anymore, ppl who crying about server dead dont even play here

 

At the moment one of the best l2 official servers out there. If you can afford some l2 store even better. If not consider playing classic or somewhere else.

You need to be able to maintain at least 2 or 3 accounts with PA to stay competitive and do some farm alone

 

yea absolutely, L2 is just great these days.







Dont forget to sell your house/car/take some loans and start looking for strong rope. There is nothing worse than unsuccesful suicide.

 

IF u count world wide population on every official and priv server together, l2 has around 300k unique players online ( pubg, dota 2 have around 500k average daily ). doesnt mean anything tho

 

300k? Not by a long shot. Even if you count the active accounts (many ppl play with more than 1 account at once). 300k players is way too much.

It's childhood memories and teenage rage moments
It's P2W and F2P

It's my mmorpg/chillgame of choice, and all the salty tears in the world won't change that.


If you like mmorpg's, you should just try it. You can literally reach lvl 99 in a day, and join in on the daily's that everyone is doing.
Anyone who is curious enough to post here to ask if it's worth playing, should install and try it.

Actually its quite realistic. It's worldwide, official servers should push 50-70k if no more, and 150-200k in privates easily

 

So many passionate players for 16 years straight yet so bad company that never saw the potential of investing on the best mmo ever

Most of them come back only to forums to cry and complain and tell everyone when server will die. That's pretty much all they do nowadays

 

in core left only those who invested too much in this game and was too late/lazy to get their investments back. now in order to get something from game you need spend like 50-100€/month for PA and keep pc running 24/7. otherwise you stuck with no gear. and now prove that i'm wrong somewhere. Don't mention that "farm event" what was 1st after 2 or 3 years. And forum.. it's open for all, where is the problem? without those "trashtalkers" even forum would be dead. now what we have, no drama in https://eu.4gameforum.com/threads/21904/ thread, Only riordian awesomemadproskilled instanced pvp movies where he somehow managed to win (reminds me gistavs from teon where he can drop down even 50% exp just for 1 frag, but that one always appears in his movie) in videos section. and from time to time some new players, or those who come back after 5+years ask some questions... that's it. server with ~150 online on afk mode with their trains (in party matching it says 900 and 150 party.. so do maths) and ~100 traders and afk peoples in town. whoa, healthy server.

i see 5 farm events in 2 years not 1 and this year letters you can count as 2 farm events my friend with 1pa+1non pa just with buying single letters and resseling as a full words made 250b in 3 weeks
