[25.07.2018] Orfen EU patch has arrived for QA

I've rechecked and I'm 90% sure that Chapter 1 is for skills 6-10, so perhaps 1-5 does not require a spellbook at all

P.S. @DIL I've found out some hints that we might get a real launcher for Lineage2, or changes in the ban system. Could you comment?

 

not me nor @DIL will comment on "hints" or "ban system" or anything that you could have found in the client. Any official info will be supplied with an announcement post, any other "research findings" are not to be commented as the client has myriads of things that we don't use in our version and I'm not into commenting all of them.

they added new l2store passive skills (the effects were mediocre i think but idk if i saw maxed out description or not) which you can buy for any class.

No. In Korea, with this update they added 3 new passive skills to each class - each class gets the same 3 skills. To develop them, you need special Spellbooks, which increase the skill's level from 1 to 30. I cannot link the skills from Korean L2Wiki because they are gone for some reason, and I don't know if we will get these skills, or if they were cancelled. All I'm saying is that if we get them, the spellbooks will probably be divided into chapters, meaning that upgrades after +10 and +20 require more effort. The passives were:

1. Offensive for fighters
2. Offensive for mages
3. Defensive

And you could learn all 3 on every class if you wanted.

They added 2 more skills in crofin update, one for vitality exp boost (also normal exp boost on higher lvls) and one for attributes bonus iirc. Also they removed fortune pockets from lucky drop, instead characters 99+ can get items that can be exchanged for books to lvl up those passive as a lucky drop.

I also have a lot of difficulty using them. By the way, you can have fun with the game
